The pain that surrounded Long Lei, slowly collected at a single point in her heart, at a steady pace, as she felt relief from the exhausting fiery pain.

She could not understand the reason behind this overbearing pain after the contract. She hated that man who did this to her?

Just because she took the soul flute, he shouldn't force her to bind a contract with him.

The surprising thing was this contract, didn't even need her agreement and started working on its own without needing an oath.

Long Lei was confused, as far as she knows, every contract needed an oath to fully complete the binding. Even if Nangong Ah Jin, that beast has used a blood contract on her, she should at least try to deny the contract but nothing she tried could dispel the force behind that powerful ruin.

Although the pain was unbearable, and she cursed Nangong Ah Jin to die a horrible death probably by thousand cuts but the fiery pain never truly harmed her.

The fiery sensation passed through her entire body and was cleaning the impurities in every pores and meridian. It was reshaping her bone structure and purifying her blood.

Long Lei was able to feel all these changes in her body. At first, she was angry at Nangong Ah Jin for using this contract against her wishes but after experiencing the benefits from this blood ruin, she was secretly elated in her heart.

After coming inside this world and learning to adapt to the strange environment was terrible for her two years ago. She was friendly with her godfather as he was good to her and the first man she knew in this strange world.

She tried very hard in adapting in this world but it was difficult for her. She didn't have a purpose in this world.

In the beginning, she was excited to live in the fantasy world and experience the things which were mentioned in those dreamy novels, it was nice at first but after two months it became boring.

She could not truly adapt here. She learned medicine and honed her fighting skills in the arena by following her godfather's advice but never was satisfied.

It became a dull routine in her life.

She didn't know about anything about this body except her name was Long Lei.

Maybe this was the reason that she was so detached from this world.

She didn't know about the history of this body. Why she was murdered in that cold night?

Where were her parents?

There was a big blank in her memories.

But it does not mean that she was going to accept everything just like this and would not retaliate against him.
