25 Waw What a Nice Person and Whats on TV Tonight? (1/2)

John was speechless. He still couldn't wrap his head around what just happened. Moments ago, his boss and peers were dying before his eyes, and now the murderer of his comrades was gifting him two boxes of bullets.

After carrying the bodies of his peers onto the truck, they left, not knowing other than a ”thanks”.

Jay wasn't a saint, he just gave what he could spare in an attempt to bury the hatchet with those gang members. As Alex confirmed, those guys were in a quite desperate state. Since they were obviously well-armed, the Game Master of Nirvana probably targeted locations like theirs especially hard. Now, with fewer survivors, the 500 bullets should be just enough to get them through the upcoming zombie wave, but not enough to come back to haunt them down the road.

The others understand Jay's intention and didn't question further.

”Oh sh*t, the crate already landed, so quiet like a fart!” Christian was clearly surprised and was eager to open it up.

The group got to the crate, and following the instructions, they scanned the QR code with Jay's phone which made the purchase.

”Wait, nothing's happe-”

Pa!

One side of the crate dropped down, almost hitting Alex in the foot. Looking inside, the group saw their items neatly placed in wooden boxes.

There were the suppressors, tablet, and the afterbite package.

”Woah, this is actually pretty neat, you get this syringe which I hope contains the antidote or something along that line, and you also get the first aid stuff and some ointment,” Christian opened the afterbite package and said, as Elon went to get the box that labeled Nirvana Tablet.

”Oh what the f*ck, it's initiating setup and installing updates... Seems to be pretty slow, can we survive long enough to see it finish?” Elon was speechless.

”I guess we just have to wait, let's see what's going on,” Jay suggested and began moving the supplies into the house.

Alex turned on the TV, and the channel was on FOX news for some reason, which was known as the most biased news outlet in North America. The reporter on TV was claiming that Homeland Security had located the broadcasting station for the signals that were controlling everyone's smart devices and disrupting cellular service.
