I almost told you everything but, at the last moment, I held back.

I shook my head and forced a smile, I put on an appearance as if there was nothing wrong.

He obviously didn't believe me but he was being considerate and didn't ask me too much, he only sat beside me, gently fixing my hair and the collar of my pajamas. I knew he was comforting me and this made my heart feel a little bit better.

When it was time to sleep, I was still different from my normal state as it still bothered me, he looked at me in surprise, sighed, and, seemingly as if he had recalled something, he told me:

”Can you hand me the soothing ointment? Yesterday, when we went to the hot spring, a mosquito bit my belly, it itches terribly and it's still quite red, it must have been a poisonous mosquito……What are you doing? Do you want to eat a whole chicken egg? Why are you opening your mouth so big?!”
