”There is a monster nearing our place just now and yet you still can sleep soundlessly like that.”

”What you must be kidding right? Where is that monster now?” The news makes his eyes wide open, a monster come yet I still sleeping, what would happen if it attack us? the thought of getting attacked while sleeping send a s.h.i.+ver down his spine.

”It gone already that monster only stare at this cave before departing somewhere else. You don't need to worry now but still, we should keep our guard at high alert, we no longer in the city danger is everywhere here.” Hans said.

”Right.” Max nod his head agree with what he had just said, now they are no longer in their safe zone instead they are in the danger zone, but only in this place they could grow stronger faster.

”No need to think about it now, let's eat our ration first and hunt some monster around here if we were lucky we can stumble upon some treasure.”

After the conversation was over both of them prepared to set out to hunt for the second day, they come across many monsters but will avoid them if the monster is too much for them to handle. Knowing your limit is one of the essential things for someone to survive in the wild, they hunted small grouped monster or monster that roam alone in the wild.

A week had pa.s.sed since they come to the forest with their hard work both of them had gained plenty during the week, even though so they had encountered many life-threatening situations like surrounded by a group of monster, ambushed by strong monster and so on.

They had grown more careful than before after those life-threatening situation they had to learn to be careful whenever they go and it had polished their survival instinct become more sharper than before.

”Max, use your wolf to scout first.”

”Okay.”

The result of their hunt for a week is pretty good that they obtain 3 monster card and plenty of monster core, the card they get consist of boar, wolf and a moose. Most of the monster they encounter were animal that has fur and them also live in the group too, three days ago they arrived in the area of a bunch of squirrels where there are more than 50 of them living in some of the pine trees in that area. The squirrel attacked them just as they arrived they seem to protect their territory and when they left the place luckily those monster not chase them anymore.

Learning from the mistake they had gathered information about monster territory in the outer area of the forest, they had created a map that helps them to navigate and avoiding entering a monster territory.

Max summoned his wolf, he gets the boar and the wolf while Hans gets the moose card. Since both of those cards were dark elemental monster and Hans had already a had dark elemental monster he gives it to Max. The moose card is Light elemental monster so Hans uses it as his second monster.

Both of their monsters already reach Captain Tier allowing them to have the second monster to use. When someone's soul card advance tier they will be able to use the second monster card to use, but even if someone had Commander Tier soul card not mean that they can call three monsters at once.

The amount of soul power someone had is the deciding factor for how many monster one can summon at once and it varies for many people.

Max summoned his wolf and ordered it to scout ahead before long his wolf had found their prey.

”My wolf had found that d.a.m.n bear.”

”I see it time for our revenge then.”

”Yes.”

Max clenched his fist when someone looks carefully on his neck a claw scar was seen on his hand. The bear had ambushed them during their hunt almost killing them in the process, they manage to run with their life but Max's hand was clawed by the bear resulting in such scar if Hans hadn't helped him he wouldn't survive.

”Don't worry even if that monster is at Captain Tier. Its does not like it was impossible to kill it. I have a plan to kill that beast even if it stronger than us. We will surely kill it.”

”I believe in you.”
