”Who?” Anya asked.

”Did you see the man in the gray coat? He is my senior and also a doctor. Just now, he was hospitalized because he was beaten by people from Lisa's family. He knew that Lisa would be engaged today so he escaped from the hospital,” Tara said.

”That man knows that I know Nico. He called me to ask about Nico's traits, after which I thought he had given up on Lisa. I didn't tell him that Lisa was pregnant. Who would've known that he would appear in this place?” She continued.

”I told him that Lisa was pregnant with his child. If he really loved Lisa, he wouldn't just stand by and ignore this engagement,” Aiden suddenly said.

”Aiden, you... You're great,” Anya was so shocked that she didn't know what to say. She could only raise her thumbs at Aiden.

Lisa's eyes looked wet when she looked at the man she loved. Her shoulders were trembling a little.

”Nico, I'm sorry. I can't be engaged to you,” Lisa said, shedding tears.

Nico stepped forward and hugged Lisa gently. Then, he patted Lisa's shoulder, ”Go. I hope you will be happy,”

”Thank you,” Lisa immediately lifted the bottom of her dress so she could run.

The man in the gray suit below the stage could only stare stupidly at Lisa until she ran over to him and threw herself in the man's arms. He could only hug his lover's body tightly while crying together.

Why did it have to be this bitter?

”What are you doing? Get the man out of this place!” Lisa's father roared angrily.

”Father, I beg you. We love each other and I'm already pregnant with his child,” Lisa kept trying to protect her lover.

”Lisa, step aside!” Her father scolded.

”Don't touch him. He's still hurt. Go! Don't come close!” Lisa screamed hysterically at the people who approached her. She used her hands to beat and scratch anyone who approached them.

”Lisa, how can I become a man worthy of you,” the man tried to protect Lisa in his arms, afraid that the people around them would harm the baby in Lisa's womb.

The men working for Lisa's father immediately took her away, even though she tried hard to struggle. Her white dress started to be covered with red blood…

”Aiden…” Anya felt anxious and immediately took her husband's hand.

”That is a matter for the Srijaya Family. We can't interfere,” said Aiden.

”Enough! Stop it. Are you not ashamed?” Indah stepped forward and stopped the commotion.

”Auntie, please help us. Help us…” Lisa cried and knelt in front of Indah.

Indah ignored her niece. Her gaze was fixed on the man who was trying to protect Lisa. ”I don't care who you are. ”I do. I love Lisa, not because of her family. I didn't even know that she was from the Srijaya Family,” the man said honestly.

Indah's gaze was fixed on their hands which were closely intertwined with each other. Her heart felt sad at their suffering to find happiness. ”Go,”

”Indah! You can't let them go!” Lisa's father said.

”Brother, if you don't let them go, will you tie Lisa down and force her to finish this engagement?” Indah asked.

”If Lisa leaves now, how can I explain everything to the Atmajaya Family?”
