”I know you won't believe what I say. Anya, I hope you can be happy. If there is anything I can do, I will...”

”Sir, may I come in?” Just then, a knock on the door was heard.

The expression on Ivan's face instantly turned cold. He turned to Anya and said in a low voice, ”Assistant Heru is coming,”

Anya was silent hearing that. Wasn't this the man that Harris was investigating?

”Then, you guys talk. I'm going home,” Anya got up and walked towards the door.

”Anya, who are you here with? I'll have someone take you,” Ivan said with concern.

”Aiden's bodyguard escorted me,” Anya said calmly, then she opened the door to Ivan's room.

Heru saw Anya and was stunned for a moment. He immediately greeted her politely. ”Madame, you also visited Mr. Ivan.”

”Hmm... I'm already going home. Please come in, Assistant Heru,” Anya came out of the room and let Heru enter.

Heru looked at Ivan who was on the hospital bed and said, ”I will escort you to the elevator first,”

”No need. I can go alone,” Anya looked at her bodyguard and the man immediately approached her.

”I'll take you,” Heru insisted.

Anya looked at Heru in confusion. But when she saw him insisting on escorting her, Anya felt that Heru had something to say, so she finally agreed.

Walking towards the elevator, Heru looked at Aiden's bodyguard and said in a low voice to Anya, ”Madame, can I talk to you alone?”

Her guess was proven right. She immediately said to Aiden's bodyguard. ”Wait here. I'll talk to Assistant Heru for a bit,”

The bodyguard nodded but didn't go far. He stood where he could see Anya and Heru, so that Heru couldn't do anything to his madame.

Heru invited Anya to stand in front of a window. Seeing no one around, he asked, ”What were you doing in the hospital?”

”Assistant Heru, what do you mean? Why can't I visit my brother-in-law?” Anya asked while looking at Heru.

”You already know how the Master treats you. Don't you realize that he likes you?” Heru asked.

”Master who? Aiden?” Anya pretended to be stupid.

She actually knew what Heru meant because she had listened to Ivan and Keara beforehand.

During the past ten years, they never communicated at all. But Ivan still remembered everything Anya had said since childhood.

Anya was touched by Ivan's love, but she was even more surprised.

”For more than ten years, Mr.Ivan has been helping you secretly, though he never appeared in front of you,” Heru said.

”When you were in high school, there were classmates who liked you and were secretly following you. Mr. Ivan always drives you home every day in secret for fear of something happening. When the boy wanted to disturb you, it was Mr. Ivan who beat him.”

”When you go to college and enter a competition, though you only get second place, you also get prize money. It's because Mr. Ivan doesn't want to give the money directly to you, afraid that you will refuse. That's why he gave it through others...”

Anya's body stiffened. She did not think that Ivan had been watching over her all this time.

”Why are you telling me all this?” Anya interrupted, but before she could say more, Heru continued again.

”If you can't love Mr. Ivan, that's fine. But please don't hurt him,” Heru said firmly.
