Chapter 239 - White Paper (1/2)

”The call from the hospital is also important to you. Raka's birthday is also important to you. It seems like all those people and things are much more important than me. Anya, aren't you a hypocrite? You blame me because I prevented you from saying happy birthday to Raka, right?” Aiden said coldly.

Anya frowned. ”My mother is still in a coma. I'm worried about missing an important call from the hospital. Is it wrong? And I just think of Raka as a friend. I've forgotten my past.”

”Raka is not your friend. He is your ex-lover!” Aiden reminded her in a cold voice.

”I already have you. And Raka is engaged too,” Anya said helplessly.

”But Raka hasn't forgotten you. That is the biggest problem.” It was true that Anya had forgotten about Raka and was slowly falling in love with Aiden. But what Aiden actually couldn't believe was Raka.

Raka still had love for Anya and Aiden couldn't do anything about it. In the end, he could only vent his frustration on his wife.

”Aiden, if you really love me and can give me happiness, Raka is willing to let me go. He himself told me. He's not just my ex-lover. I already think of him as my own brother because we grew up together,” Anya explained.

”You may feel that way, but he is different.” Aiden didn't tell Anya that last night, Raka wasn't just waiting for birthday wishes from Anya.

Raka even appeared in front of their house gate from night and came home at dawn.

When Aiden saw him on CCTV, not only he felt angry, but also threatened.

Even though Raka had announced his engagement to Natali, it seemed that the man had not forgotten Anya.

”Aiden, I really love you. You're the only one in my heart. Please believe me. You are the most important in my heart,” Anya didn't know how to make Aiden trust her.

She stood on tiptoe to kiss Aiden on the lips, but Aiden didn't reply.

Anya didn't give up. She hung on Aiden's body like a koala, wrapped her arms around Aiden's neck and her legs around her husband's waist. ”Husband, don't be angry with me. I only love you.”

Aiden ignored Anya's soft voice as his wife was clinging to him. But when Anya was about to fall, he immediately stretched out his hand to hold Anya's body from falling.

”I've told Harris to send engagement gifts to the Mahendra family on my behalf and you, as husband and wife,” Aiden said.

”Hmm… I agree. You are very kind, you even bother to send them gifts,” Anya nodded with a smile. She really didn't seem to care about Raka. ”Are you still angry now?”

”I just feel uncomfortable,” Aiden carried Anya's body and sat on the edge of the bed.

Anya's lips pursed. She had gone to great lengths to persuade her husband, but why was Aiden still angry?

Anya held Aiden's face with both hands and kissed his lips gently. ”Is it better?”

”Not yet,” Aiden turned and pressed Anya's body under him.

”Aiden, it's still daytime ...” Anya was surprised and looked out the window.

Aiden reached out to take the remote control above the head of the bed and pressed a button. He closed the curtains so that the whole room was dark. ”It's dark now.”

”Ha! Alright, alright. You win.” Anya spread her hands as if in surrender, making Aiden chuckle in her heart.

Aiden lowered his head and chewed Anya's lips gently. His eyes looked deep as he looked at the face of the woman he loved.

It didn't take long for Anya to immediately get caught in Aiden's love trap. Immersed in his kisses and couldn't get away from him.

She felt like a small ship bobbing in the middle of the sea, while Aiden was the wave guiding her.

Her brain felt empty and she could only hold on to Aiden's neck.

Aiden was satisfied with Anya's response. The more he kissed his wife, the more addicted he became.

Anya also didn't refuse the kisses. Instead, she enjoyed every kiss Aiden gave her. Even though she didn't know how to kiss and all her movements fell apart, Aiden became increasingly out of control. The fire in his heart seemed like it couldn't be put out.

Their breathing grew faster. The air conditioner in that place seemed meaningless.
