Chapter 28:Forgotten Memories (2/2)

Aiden never thought that this woman who leaned on his shoulder had been in a coma for one week. Did Anya forget about him after she woke up from her coma?

”The doctor who treated him said that after waking up from a coma, she couldn't remember what happened or how she got injured. She can only remember that that day she was picking flowers. That's the last memory she has.” Harris continued, ”She can't remember what happened when she disappeared until she woke up.”

Harris reported it while watching Aiden's reaction closely. As usual, Aiden's face remained so calm and unreadable that Harris couldn't tell what he was thinking. However, Harris was an intuitive person and had extraordinary sensitivity.

”Sir, the accident that happened to Mrs. Anya at the same time you were injured ...”

Harris grew up with Aiden since he was a child. He always accompanied Aiden so that he could become his trusted assistant. Even after becoming his assistant, Harris was never far from Aiden. But strangely, Harris didn't know Anya at all. He never saw Anya with Aiden.

However, his master acted as if he knew Anya.

If they both knew each other, how could Harris, who was always beside Aiden, not know it?

”Did the doctor tell her why she lost her memory?” asked Aiden.

Finally, he found out why Anya didn't remember him. The woman was not pretending, nor did she forget it on purpose. It turned out that Anya was once injured, causing her memory to be lost.

”The doctor said it was possible that at that time Madame had experienced something so bad and painful that she could not endure the pain. Such trauma caused someone to try to run away so that in the end the Madam lost some of her memory. Or rather, her brain erase those memories.” Harris explained.

”Is there a way to recover her memory?” Asked Aiden in a low voice.

”She could remember it anytime and anywhere, but there is also the possibility that the memory will never come back. The doctor said that hypnosis therapy could also be done so that she could force back her memory. Do I need to find a psychiatrist?” Harris asked.

Aiden thought for a moment, but in the end, he shook his head, ”If the memory is so bad that she wants to forget it, just let it be forgotten. We can start over from scratch…” Aiden replied softly as he looked at the woman who was still sound asleep beside him.

Every now and then, in her sleep Anya looked uncomfortable as if she was dreaming something bad. However, when Aiden's hand went up to gently stroke her hair, or just caressed her head, she would calm down again.

”Sir, Mrs. Anya was with you when you were injured, right?” Harris's intuition said that. From earlier, he felt the question lingered in his heart so he dared to ask.

Aiden shut his mouth tightly. He did not answer Harris's question as if the question was a wind then ...
