”Aiden, it looks like you've misunderstood.” Said Deny, trying to calm Aiden's anger. He must not lose a prospective son-in-law like Aiden so he must fight to calm his anger.

Deny needed Aiden to make his company move forward. With Aiden's help, he would be even richer. He would also become one of the most influential people in this city.

”Misunderstand?” Aiden's voice was so low that it almost sounded like a growl.

”The person you ordered to escort that woman to my room. Are you sure you can keep his mouth shut? Have you never thought that I could pay twice as much money as you gave?” Aiden said it with a face that looked bored as if he was dealing with a fool.

Natali immediately felt panicked. All of her plans had been exposed! She immediately hugged her father's arm, trying to persuade him, ”Dad, that's not what I want. Anya said she needed money to save her mother so she asked me to meet a rich man. Not me…”

Deny could only stare at his daughter in confusion. He didn't know who to believe in. He did not really know who had lied and who was telling the truth to him.

However, there was only one thing he cared about. He only cared about Aiden's opinion. If Aiden said Natali was guilty, then according to what he said, Natali was guilty. Deny only cared about Aiden and his wealth.

”Father!” Shouted Natali, holding her cheek.
