19 Two Moon (1/2)

At night.

Several hours after the team arrived at the 5th legion camp near the southern border of the Astoria empire.

The team members had been given tents to rest by General Arthur before, which they eventually used to take a break.

However, the tents are currently empty because the team members are at a meeting with General Arthur. Except for Arno who decided not to attend the meeting, he instead meditated in his tent.

And he did not forget to see the two moons that had different characteristics. Which accompany each other on a mission to light up the entire night sky of the world.

Arno smiled lightly as he looked up at the sky. And he feels very peaceful and comfortable, it must be known that he hasn't felt that way for so long.

Because before he hibernated a million years ago, he was always haunted by a sense of danger and discomfort. Wherever he goes or even when he only stays inside his private moon cave, he always feels unsafe.

Too much chaos happened at that time, even though for someone with great strength, he couldn't feel safe at all. There will always be problems or enemies approaching him. He must always be vigilant. And that was all done in the name of survival.

But that's the way of life that he has decided to live. Arno did not regret it, after all, it had become a thing of the past.

Then, Arno took out a wooden pipe with his hand and lit it with fire.

After walking for a while, they almost reached the tent.

”Hey, is that Arno?” Dina suddenly spoke while pointing towards a small hill near the tent.

Melissa and the rest immediately looked in the direction pointed out by Dina.

”Yeah right. That is Arno sitting there.” Sasha confirmed that after seeing it clearly.

They see Arno sitting on a box while sucking something that emits smoke.

”I'm so sleepy, I go first.” Aurel said while yawning and she went to her tent.

Melissa herself walked to where Arno was sitting, she could see Arno looking at the sky.

Melissa drew closer. She could see his face clearly. At this moment, Arno's face was filled with calmness and tranquilness.

She also could feel the feeling of calm that wrapped around Arno. Suddenly, he turned his head slowly toward Melissa. And Arno smiled charmingly when he looked at her.

Melissa was stunned by that smile, but it wasn't for long, she immediately returned to normal.

”Is the meeting over?” Arno asked while maintaining his smile.

Melissa nodded ”Yes.” and she began to sit next to Arno.

”What are the results?” he asked again, his voice was very soft.

”The results are pretty good, do you want to hear more?” Melissa answered teasingly.

”No, not now, just keep it for tomorrow.” Arno shook his head and refused.

Then, the two didn't talk to each other for a while.

But Melissa was upset because of that.

”Why doesn't he talk to me again?” Melissa asked herself.

This moment is the only time she can chat with Arno, before the team leaves tomorrow. Because they have to be vigilant when they are inside the Deadlands. So Melissa decided to continue the conversation on her own.

”But what is a good topic to discuss?” Melissa thought while looking for a suitable conversation topic.

She suddenly remembered that Arno had been watching something in the sky.

Maybe she can ask about that.

”Arno.” then Melissa calls Arno gently.

Hearing his name being called, Arno looked at Melissa's face.

”Hmm, what's wrong?” He asked in confusion.

”Nothing, it's just ... what did you see in the sky before?” Melissa asked a little nervously.
