28 Bloody battles Round 1 (1/2)

It was the next day after the preliminaries and Long Suanni was pissed about Long Lao Er's yesterday's actions.

That bastard took advantage of me yesterday, how did he dare, Long Suanni was thinking as she kept a cold demeanor towards Long Lao Er.

Everyone was back in the Dragon Stadium venue, excited for the next rounds.

”For the next round, we'll form brackets, where the winner of each battle will pass to the next round, until 2 people are left.

Whomever wins in the finals will become the champion.”

Said the judge and Junior Elder, Long Yu Yan.

”Now contestants, please form a line and take a number so you can be added to the brackets.”

And so the participants formed a line and started getting numbers for around 20 minutes until everyone got their number.

”What number did you get Suanni?” Asked Long Lao Er.

”Hmp!”

Long Suanni didn't answered as her mad expression showed Long Lao Er that she was still angry at him.

”Common, how much long are you going to be mad at me? I already apologized to you. I promise I won't do it again.”

Long Suanni turned her back to the apologetic Long Lao Er, but before she went away she said.

”One.”

”I got number thirty two, so I guess I'll see you at the finals Suanni.”

Long Ming, who was the judge for all the first round combats went into the stage and said.

”Now participant one and two get into the stage.”

Long Suanni and her opponent Long Xin went into the stage. Long Xin was a cultivator in the eight level of the Qi Condensation Realm, while Long Suanni was a cultivator at the ninth level of the Qi Condensation Realm. So everyone expected for her to win.

”I am honored to battle her highness, please instruct this humble servant of yours.” Said Long Xin.

Long Ming declare the battle initiated, so Long Xin circulated his Qi essence and jumped towards Long Suanni and threw a punch at her. But just when Long Xin tought he had her, his punch went through her as her figure vanished.

Long Xin wasn't nervous, he knew that she was stronger than him and probably faster. As long as he could find her and use his art on her, he was confident that he could beat Long Suanni.

Long Xin used his spirit sense to look for Long Suanni.

”Weird, I sense she's here, but I cannot accurately pinpoint her location” Thought Long Xin.

And just before he could retract his fist a smooth jade like hand grabbed the wrist from his punching arm and using little Qi essence in her arm, Long Suanni threw Long Xin out of the platform.

This victory shocked everyone. The audience expected her to win, but no one expected her to win in one movement and what's more she didn't even attack, she just threw her opponent away.

”Winner, Long Suanni!” Declared Long Ming. And like that the first round continued.

”Number nine and ten on to the platform.”

Long Qiong and Long Che went to the platform.

”Look it's Long Qiong, I heard he's on the tenth level of the Qi Condensation Realm. His opponent doesn't stand a chance, he's only at the seventh level of the Qi Condensation Realm.” Said a person from the public.

”You won't earn too much if you beat on Long Qiong's victory, what people are betting is on the number of moves and the moves that Long Qiong will execute.” Said another person in the public.

Long Ming once again declared the battle initiated.

A killing intent was liberated from Long Qiong before Long Che could even start circulating his Qi essence.
