It has been a couple of days since Long Lao Er had beaten Long ZhangLang and the rest of the bullies, Long Suanni was very impressed and excited with Long Lao Er's performance, and so after pestering him for several days she managed to convince him to teach her, his sealing art.
Much to Long Suanni's annoyance, Long Lao Er started explaining her all about meridians, accupoints and crystalized Qi essence. It would be weird if she wasn't annoyed about his explanation, cultivators from this age were all about cultivating and getting stronger. Cultivators would only pay attention as long as it would help them with their cultivation.
It had been a miracle that things such as array masters, pill masters and scholars existed.
Array masters were people who duplicated ancient arrays and give them maintainance.
On the other hand Pill masters were people who specialized on mixing different herbs to produce different kinds of pills which could bring different effects such as healing, increasing cultivation, etc based on ancient texts.
Finally scholars were people obsessed with copying old manuals arts and keeping the old arts alive.
The problem was that this people weren't curious at all, so they haven't been able to develop new pills, arrays or arts. Few innovators had existed through history and it was thanks to those innovators that pills, arrays and arts existed, but their pupils and descendants didn't inherited their thirst for knowledge and their creativity.
That was why Long Lao Er was an odd ball amongst his peers. Long Suanni had understood that Long Lao Er was like those old monsters from ancient times who had what it takes to elevate the cultivation game into a whole new level.
And so much to her dismay she had to pay attention as much as possible to Long Lao Er's words since he had yet to produce a manual that will transmit the knowledge into the readers mind.
”Now I'm going to show you how to use this Sealing art.” said Long Lao Er. Drowsiness turned into excitement on Long Suanni's face and said ”You keep calling it Sealing art, but the truth is that you haven't think on a proper name for your art right?”.
Long Lao Er sigh and answered ”You are right and the reason arts have names is so cultivators can better visualize the art in order to unleashed them. But in my case my art is not exactly an art...”. Long Lao Er had reverted into sage mode, much to Long Suanni's dismay.
”Dragon Sealing Art” yelled Long Suanni. Surprised by Long Suanni's last phrase, Long Lao Er smiled and accepted her suggestion for his new art name.
”Now I am going to demonstrate the Dragon Sealing art, pay close attention to me and don't panic after I am done. The effects that you are going to feel will last just a few breaths okay?, for this art you would normally need to mix it with another art or with an array to increase your speed but for training purposes I am going to do it at a regular speed.”
