”A fine morning to you, son-in-law!” the king replied in his typical loud voice.

”Morning,” the prince nodded.

”May I ask why you are here?” Koji inquired politely.

”Sifu Huang reported that your body can now withstand 5g!Considering that you've trained under him for less than a week, your progress is astonishing!” King Aphraphus praised with delight.

Heretrios' eyebrows rose at the news.”You are truly talented, brother!” the prince said in admiration for Koji.

”I only advanced so quickly due to the special training method,” Koji replied and bowed to the king from the waist.

”Special training method?” Heretrios asked while looking at the king.

His father smiled faintly.”The training is arduous.But if you truly desire to use this method, I can instruct Sifu Huang to train you,” King Aphraphus proposed.

His son immediately shook his head.”That's quite alright,” Heretrios replied.”I've been busy training the recruits,” he added.

The king laughed jovially.He knew that his son had a lower tolerance for pain compared to Koji.Thus, Aphraphus allowed the matter to drop and spare Heretrios needless pain.Besides, his son's talent was in commanding the kingdom's army.If Heretrios ends up fighting the enemies personally, then that means his men are near defeat.

King Aphraphus turned his attention back to Koji.”Show us your sword dance,” he ordered.

”At once, Sire!” the young man answered.He pulled his saber from its case and started making a figure-8 with his right hand, and the performer switched to his left side.Koji seamlessly twirled the blade like a baton while he danced to an imaginary soundtrack.

The two watchers were stunned by Koji's smooth performance.Neither warrior could control his saber to the extent which Koji had shown!

Clap-clap!”Stop!” the king commanded.

Koji immediately sheathed his weapon and bowed.

”Read your menu report for saber proficiency,” Aphraphus ordered.

The son-in-law called up his menu and saw the following: ”Saber Proficiency Tier 5 (3/10)”.Koji read the line aloud.

Prince Heretrios whistled.”That's impressive!” he remarked.He couldn't believe how quickly Koji advanced; the prince had taught Koji the eight angles of saber attacks less than a week ago.

King Aphraphus unfastened the sword case from his belt.”Koji, from your sword dance performance, I can tell that you are a dual sword wielder.Since my son gifted you a saber already, here's another one from me.”

”Thank you, father!”Koji accepted the weapon in both hands and bowed from his waist.

Prince Heretrios fished out a hook from his pocket.”Use this to attach the other sword case to your belt,” he said and gave the item to Koji.

”Thank you, brother!” Koji accepted with a smile.

”Since we are both here, why don't you spar against both of us together?” the king suggested with a big grin.

The young man's heart sank at the proposal, but Koji quickly recovered.”Please guide me,” he answered with another bow.

”Fight with your weapons sheathed,” Heretrios added.He held his weapon case in both hands while his father opted to spar with his bare hands.

Without warning, the two men attacked!
