He names the sandfly (chap, xvi.) ”igoo-gouai.” His ”ibolai” or ”mangrove fly” is ”owole” in the singular, and ”iwole” in the plural. The wasp, which he terms ”eloway,” is known to the Mpongwe people as ”ewogoni.”
