Alvin's P.O.V

”Yeah, it seems like it.” I chuckled and couldn't help feeling happiness bubbling up in me as I look at Emily staring out of my bedside window as she was totally captivated by the moon in the sky.

”Emy, I hope I am not rushing you or anything but my parents are coming back tomorrow and there is a party organized for you too.” A few minutes passed and there was no answer, I furrowed my brows and went closer to her, all of a sudden she was having a convulsion. Her whole body was shaking erratically and she fell back onto the bed, the freakiest thing is that her eyes seemed to be flipped back and it was fully white.

”Emy, Emy, are you okay?” I rushed over to my bed and was currently beside her seizure-like state. I brought her into my embrace and hugged her but as soon as my skin touches hers, I couldn't see a single thing. It was total darkness, but that didn't stop me, I brought her tighter into my embrace.

I mind linked Ricky and Carly as well as the pack doctor so that they can figure out what was going on. Within minutes they all rushed over and Carly freaked out as soon as she entered the room.

”OMGOSH, EM ARE YOU OKAY???” I couldn't see what she was doing but I could hear from her elephant footsteps that she ran over and when she was about to touch Emily, something happened.

”I am the light in the darkness. I am the light in the darkness. I am the light in the darkness. I am the light in the darkness.” Emily began chanting the words over and over again and before I know it I felt an incredible force field pushing me back causing me to let go of her and her body flopped back down onto the bed.

Once we broke contact my sight regained almost instantly and my eyes felt slightly irritated due to the sudden exposure of light. Ricky was beside me at this point trying to help me up and Carly was slightly pushed away but it wasn't a big reaction as she did not have any bodily contact with Emily.

”What is happening to her Kale? Save her!” I frantically approached the pack doctor and asked.

”Alpha, I am sorry this isn't a medical issue, if I am not wrong I think Sofós might be able to tell you what is wrong.” Kale apologized and explained.

”Bring Sofós over now!” I looked towards Ricky and ordered him, I am still pissed at him, he knows how the mating process goes so how dare he mark Carly, but that aside he complied and immediately went to get Sofós over. Kale was standing at the side in case of any situation where he might be needed while Carly was putting pillows all around the bed in case of a situation where Emily might fall off the bed as the convulsion was getting bad to worse and the chanting as well.

”Alpha, I've heard you need my presence.” An old and cracking voice could be heard as a man with a head full of white hair and wrinkles on his forehead came into view.

”Yes Sofós, we need to know what is going on with my mate, she started having a seizure and her eyes turned full white. There is a force field or some sort around her as well which does not allow anyone to have any body contact with her. A while back she began chanting 'I am the light in the darkness.” Any idea what is going on?” I bombarded him with questions and his expression was still neutral with no shock or horror.
