Carly's P.O.V

”Gosh, I am so bored! Why must there be such a thing like a self-studying exercise?” I was whining and complaining to Ricky after he got back to the pack house in the morning, he was gone along with Ryder and my dumb brother for the whole night and they wouldn't tell me what were they up to. The Shadow Claw pack members have been settled down properly and some of our pack warriors even found their mates. I was sitting beside Ricky while eating butter cookies and looking at my laptop on the lecture videos the teachers posted for us to watch it at home for self-studying purposes.

”Babe at least we get to spend time together right, so this is sort of a good thing.” Ricky carried me up from my seat and plopped me down on his lap. With that, I was satisfied and went quiet.

”Rick, I miss Emily, can we go find her? We can ask her to hang out!” I started bouncing on his lap as I got excited over the idea.

”Sure, why not but babe, you might want to stop bouncing on my lap or you might need to help me deal with a problem down below.” He wiggled his brows and chuckled.

I didn't understand what he was saying but that was when I realized something hard was poking my butt. My face was getting heated and I blushed bright tomato red.

”Rick no teasing! My brother already said, no mating until I am 18!” I said shyly with my face against his chest.

”B-but my wolf and I want you so bad, but, fine you are worth the wait.” When he said that my heart melted, this guy in front of me simply amazes me time and again when I thought he couldn't get any sweeter he just has to outdo himself.

”I love you, Rick.” I gave him a light peck on the lips and stood up from his lap.

”Okay go, go get ready I will go get the car ready.” Ricky got up from the couch and went in the direction of the garage.

I went to pick out a casual outfit and contacted the school's registration office lady, the phone rang twice before someone picked up.

”Ms. Wendy, Carly here! May you please send me the details of Emily the new student to me, thank you.”

”Good morning Miss Hartgrove, the details will be sent to you in a moment, I am glad to be of service.” The lady through the phone spoke courteously, a moment went by before a notification bar popped up on my phone notifying me that the details were sent over already.

Since my brother and Ryder are both asleep it is a good time to go visit Emily as it means she will have more time to spend with me rather than my idiotic brother and Ryder! I skipped over to the garage to find Ricky in the driver's seat with 2 guys at the back seat. I got in the car and had a better look at the 2 dudes, I guess my hope of wanting to spend more time with my friend is not possible, my brother and Ryder were both in the back seat.

”Sorry babe, I didn't expect them to follow.” Ricky apologized.

I sighed and looked towards him, ”It is alright Ricky lets just go already, these 2 retards are just going to have to deal with my singing throughout then.” Ryder was hugging onto a bear and sleeping while Alvin put on his earpiece and watched some show that was playing on his phone totally ignoring me.

”Let's just go already.” After hearing that, Ricky sped off.

I can't wait to see how Emily's family is like!
