20 Her Confession: True Or False (1/2)

”I... aa... I...”

”I... What!!”

”Rooh, I...”

(Silent for a while)

Both faced each other, but couldn't match our eyes. Both could hear the heartbeats. And, finally, I break the silence,

”I like you, Aarush!!”

And, he looked at me with little surprised expression.

”Do you have to say the same?” I asked (blushing).

”I... I think… We should go now...!” he replied, but I was disheartened.

And, with tears, I said, ”You leave!! I'll reach home by my own. I don't want to share a car with you... (Walked, and looking to a car, and, ignored his face)”

I started walking, and Aarush feels bad that, he didn't answer my proposal, I walked few steps and left the beach location. Meanwhile, Aarush followed me with his car. I could see him following me, but he left me to walk alone if I want to, as he made me disappointed. Few steps across, I could find that, it's 4 in the evening and city is getting crowded near beach. Blindly, I crossed the road before the red signal changes, Aarush could see me, and parked the car as it is and rushed to catch me before any accident happens.

The moment I realized that I'm crossing the road in a wrong light, I found that, city bus is approaching and I thought I would die this time. So, I closed my eyes through my hands and shouted. Till then, I was in air and when I opened my eyes I found myself under the arms of Aarush. The crowd gathered around us and shouted, ”Are you mad?” ”Want to die?” ”Don't you have eyes?” and so on. Except his voice, ”You okay?” Aarush apologizes all and we walked near his car. I tried to remove his hand from my shoulder and said, ”I don't want to go with you” ”leave me” ”Alone!!”

He said after me, ”Don't me stupid, Rooh!! I don't want to leave you alone here!! So please, sit in the car!!”
