20 Leveling by potions (1/2)
Ofcourse, Arthur won't tell them. It is still too early to let them know his secret. But to pacify the worries of these two men, he retrieve something from his spatial ring. It was a huge black wooden box.
”Take this box on that day. Do not open it. If thiswon't work, then nothing else wil serve your purpose.”
”In exchange, I want all of the things on this list. I want them all tomorrow. This would help us brothers to increase our mana capacity a bit faster. If you can bring more, then that would be better.”He passed on a piece of paper to Marty.
”Are you sure this would be enough, son?”
”Father, I already said I trust you more than anyone. Won't you trust me with this one?”
”Alright, but you can ask for another thing for this. You told us that you need these things for you and your brothers, then it is my responsibility to get it for you.”
”Yes Arthur, if you need something then freely come to us, specially with things that will help you rank up. I also hope that you can spare some for your cousins, then if you need more, I will personally see that it would be delivered to you.”
”Alright, but I don't have anything on my mind right now. Let us talk about this at a later date. As for my cousins, I will think of something for them.”
Argon casually turned around with his hands behind his back and returned home.
The two men who were left behind felt the same thing right now: happiness, extreme happiness.
Marty decided to browse through the list but he was dumbfounded on what he saw. The things that would help someone rank up quickly definitely have high cost. However, everything on this list are herbs and tools amounting to a few gold coins. Even if they bought a hundred more, they can afford it.
”Hahahaha, this is great. I hate to say this but, if I can throw my own children to a spatial tunnel and they return reliable like your son, then I would not hesitate.”
”Stop joking, big brother. You saw how Kathlyn came to be when Arthur was gone. If we have no other kids, then she may really have gone crazy. And that would be another problem.”
”I know already. Did you get someone to inform your wife's family about Arthur's return?”
”Ofcourse, Kathlyn already informed them the moment she heard the city guards reporting our son's return. They replied back and said that they would visit three months from now. Should we tell Arthur about this?”
”Oh you can just tell your wife to tell him.”
Marty stood up and retrieved the wooden black box. He tried to put it in his personal spatial ring but the box won't enter. He tried many times and to his dismay, it always failed. Finally, he tried it on an empty spatial ring and was successful.
