12 Suspicious Yeti Chen (1/2)

After having my walk with Maj on the unrestricted parts of the compound which wasn't much because who would want a stranger map out your base? So we just went back to where Aleks and the guys were.

”Find anything?” Asked Yeti Chen.

I looked around the room first while Letting out a tune. ”I'll have to go back and analyze my suspicions. I'll let send someone to inform you when I get something.”

The Yeti narrowed his eyes at me. ”Oh? Then we'll welcome you anytime.”

Yeti Chen gave Aleks a look then to his subordinates. ”Escort Sir. Chao Ren and company to another room. I need to speak a few words to Aleks.”

We all stood up and was sent to a new room a few hallways away. It was a plain room with just a big table in the middle surrounded by chairs.

”There are bugs* ah.” Gonor sighed dramatically.

*Bugs meaning there are surveillance cameras in the room

Ketch rolled his eyes. ”Shut up. You're ruining the atmosphere.”

”Well sorry your emo-ness didn't mean to disrupt the solemn and dark atmosphere.” Gonor mocked.

Ketch raises his fist up ready to punch Gonor while Gonor immediately went on a defensive stance. Jace hit the table. ”That's enough!”

Ketch huffs a breath then turn his attention opposite of the direction of Gonor. Gonor just laughs and sits down in one of the closes chairs beside him.

Gonor looks at me, I let out a small smile and he suddenly tenses. Ahhh Gonor tsk tsk, I can see what you're up to. Can't you just be honest instead of doing underhanded tricks on Ketch?

Gonor turned the other way ignoring me. I looked at the ceiling and recounted what happened a while ago when I was walking around the estate. Yeti Chen ah, I hope my speculations are wrong.

Half an hour later Aleks came out after the chat with that yeti the we soon headed for our base. When we arrived immediately questions me.

”So?”

I sighed. ”I don't think we should have any dealings with Yeti Chen anymore.”
