10 HE FOLLOWED HER HOME (1/2)

Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. Both Zunnie and Alex got busy with work. Alex completely forgot he was curious about the beautiful girl with deep blue eyes.

Two months passed and Zunnie still had no idea who stayed in the condo down the hall.

On two occasions she had gone to the door to introduce herself but chickened out. She even began taking the elevator more often to make the acquaintance of her neighbor. It's not that she wanted a friend, she was touched when the previous neighbor came to introduce himself with cakes from his daughter.

Zunnie wanted to show the same kindness that had been given to her to the next person who moved in.

'Maybe there's no-one living there,' she thought. Since she saw no-one else but her, she pushed the gesture to the back of her mind.

Also, she had more important things to worry about. Her office was gaining positive feedback, because her treatment methods proved to be efficacious. Her patients increased to the point where she hardly had time to hang out with Sanua.

When she finally had a break, Sanua took her to Club Zen. She hadn't elegantly dined out since that day her brother and his girlfriend took her out to eat French cuisine.

She walked in and headed straight to the dining table where Sanua was waiting. Tonight, she wore a light brown blazer over a white sleeveless turtleneck top that she tucked into a red high-waist, wide leg dress pants.

She was looking exceptionally classy wearing her work outfit.

”My…my…my, you definitely go to working slaying.” Sanua exclaimed as she stood to hug Zunnie.

”Well, aren't you kind!” Zunnie blushed hearing her fashion mogul best friend compliment her.

They ordered dinner and chatted happily.

In a private room at the same club, four people were having dinner as well.

Natalia excused herself and went to the bathroom leaving three men in the room.

Juno Langu was surprised to see Alex walk in with a beauty behind him. Since when had his long-time buddy Zi gotten a girlfriend?

He knew Alex very well and took the opportunity to tease him.

”So, Zi boy you're not going fill us in on…”

”Just a friend.” Alex replied cutting him off. He knew what Juno was up to, so he didn't wait for him to finish his question.

”Are you sure, because the way she looks at you says otherwise.”

”What the hell do I care with the way she looks at me. I said she's just a friend. We knew each other when we were kids.”

Alex had expected his friends to tease him when he showed up with Natalia.
