Nam Ji Won follows his eyes. The white clouds are moving in the sky.
”Our thoughts are like those clouds,” He says, amused. ”They are wandering in our mind like these clouds. We can pick up a thought and decide whether we want it to represent us. If we don't, it will go away or hang out for a while before it goes away. It goes away if we don't choose to act on it. Our thoughts are not us until we choose them to become us. They don't represent our true self.”
”Teacher Choi, those are wise words.” The mountain's wind is cool. The day is warm. Life is fleeting indeed.
