The thug in suit grins. ”Miss Lee asked me to drive you to your home. I cannot defy her orders. Kindly let me.”
Tae Il nods. If someone wants to drive him home, he has no problem. ”I will pack my bags.”
”I have already packed and put them in the car,” he says. ”Please come with me.”
After he reaches home, he takes a bath and changes into fresh clothes first. He calls Ji Won's number again, but it doesn't connect this time either. He has a bad feeling in his heart. He is too annoyed. Then, he remembers Park Na Young. He doesn't have her contact number either.
Suddenly, he gets a call from Son Jong Pil. He doesn't pick up. The phone kept ringing until he gives in and picks it up.
”Sunbae, is something wrong?”
”Leo, Ji Won had an accident.” Son Jong Pil sounds breathless on the phone.
”What? Which hospital?”
”City Hospital. I am heading there.” Jong Pil cuts the phone. Tae Il picks up his coat and runs out of his house. He runs on the street until he finds a cab. He rushes inside the hospital and finds Na Young first. She is crying non-stop. Son Jong Pil is patting her back softly. Next, to her, another man with familiar features was standing.
”She will be fine.” Jong Pil is saying to that person. ”She is a strong person.”
”Na Young, do you know how this happened?” Nam Dong Min ignores Jong Pil. ”Mother told me that she went on a trip with her friends. After she came back, she and father met with the accident.”
Seo Tae Il's feet stop when he listens. Trip? Is he talking about the trip to T mountains?
”I don't know, Oppa.” Na Young wipes her tears. ”She didn't tell me that she was going on a trip. None of our friends from school went on any trip.”
Nam Dong Min looks around with tears in his eyes. ”Why did this accident happen? Why are my father and my sister hurt like this? I want to know what happened.”
Seo Tae Il's feels are churning with uneasiness. Nam Dong Min finds staring at them.
”He is Ji Won's boyfriend,” Son Jong Pil tells him slowly. ”I called him.”
”You are her...?” Nam Dong Min narrows his eyes.
”No, he is not...” Na Young opens her mouth.
”I am her boyfriend.” Seo Tae Il speaks before she can finish her words. ”We started going out recently.”
