Karma must exist in the world. On the same day, Nam Ji Won lost her part-time job because of negligence and skipped days. She had been too busy with studying how to woo her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend. She didn't do her work correctly and made a lot of mistakes. Now that everything was over, she was ready to work again. But the owner of the chicken shop kicked her out. She felt like crying when he refused to pay her one week worth of labour.
She spent her savings on makeup, wig, and gifts for Gong Ae Young. Now, she was wondering if it was really worth the trouble. Money was already tight in the house because of debts and expenses. She didn't ask money from her parents. They didn't know that she lost her job.
After half a month, she was sitting on the stairs with no food at the school when she heard someone crying. She rubbed her grumbling stomach and sighed.
”Areum, he is not worth the tears.”
”Soorin, how could he do this to me? What does he see in that wrench?”
”Areum, she is the one who seduced him. My mom says that men do not think with their head or heart. They think with their male part only.”
Nam Ji Won couldn't help but blush when she heard their words. It seemed like Areum's boyfriend left her for someone else or cheated on her. She couldn't help but agree with Soorin. Then, she remembered Gong Ae Young. Gong Ae Young was also seduced by her. She came to the conclusion that it was unfair to think that only men were easily seduced. Some women also think with their female part.
”I will do anything to break them up.” Areum yelled with an angry tone ”I will pay anything for someone to break their relationship.”
Nam Ji Won's ears perked up when she heard Areum's words. Pay anything? Didn't it mean that she could earn money for her lunch? She lost her part-time job because of Kim Si Woo and Gong Ae Young. She couldn't find another job after two weeks of search. Job hunting was hard with school and studies. If she could earn some money, wouldn't that be easy?
”Areum, calm down.” Soorin patted Areum's back while Areum sobbed. Nam Ji Won felt her heart clenching. Love was temporary. It changed with looks, class and age. It disappeared whenever someone new appeared, leaving behind a broken heart.
Areum and Soorin didn't stay for long. They went to their classroom. Nam Ji Won followed them and noted down Areum's desk. Next morning, she ran to the school early. She went straight to Areum's classroom and put down a note under her desk. She hoped that Areum would find it.
After two hours, she received a text on her spare phone from an unknown number. In the text, the person gave her the details of a boy and a girl. They were also from the same school. It was from Areum.
