When he saw that she was getting discharged, he thought about fetching her and bringing her home, but the excuse of him being her boss wasn't enough reason to get her. It would make her suspicious.

”hey, are you alright?”
”huh? why?”
”your face us bright red, are you sick?”
”I'm completely fine” Hui Yin stared at her phone for a couple of minutes before asking
AL: Are you sick Mr. Cheng?
CMH: I feel dizzy
'ahhhh that explains it..he really didn't mean it then'
AL: you should rest then Mr. Cheng

”okay..this would be the last document you need to sign..and...you're free to go”
”thank you Derek”
”it's fine, anyway, who's bringing you home?”
”about that..what time does your shift end?”
”I'm free to go anytime, why? Ohhh...would you like me to bring you home?”
”if it wouldn't be much of a bother”
”sure thing, this would give me a chance to visit that villa of yours”
”actually, I'm not living there right now.”
”where then?” he suddenly got curious. When Hui Yin told him the address, he was surprised by the level of safety she put in her cover.
”well, I'm sure that place of yours is not ordinary either. I'll just visit your villa some other day then”
Derek helped Hui Yin sit on the wheelchair and walked behind her. Slowly but surely, he pushed it towards the parking lot.
”you know, that b**ch Wen Qianji flew to France, that's why she isn't here”

”you seriously didn't pay her any attention huh?”

”come on, did you at least feel anything after those years of bullying?”

both of them laughed as Derek carefully carried Hui Yin, sitting her on the front seat. When he was sure that she didn't feel umcomfortable, he hurriedly kept the wheelchair and placed it inside the trunk of the car before driving off.
None of them noticed the black Mustang that was parked behind them. Minutes later, it speeded out of the hospital and back to the villa where it first came from.
