40 His Vacation at Her Place 2 (1/2)
'what have I been doing???!?'
the question kept repeating. She knew she was so out of Anna Lin's character today, maybe it was because she was tired or surprised, Hu Yin would never know.
One thing was for sure, her heart paced whenever he was near, that was dangerous.
Once she was done, she knocked on the bathroom door where Cheng Ming-hùa was and told him that she had extra toilettries in the cabinet behind the mirror, to which, Ming-hùa just hummed in response.
Hui Yin the proceeded to do other things and called for someone to buy him clothes. She realized that he hadn't brought anything with him earlier, not even a set of clothing. To be sure, she also ordered his favorite brands as well as a set of pyjamas.
'ay this man...does he always think I can prepare everything for him? If you were not my boss I would have punched you in the face by now humph!'
She took her time to prepare the extra bed she had in her office, she couldn't possibly let him stay in her bedroom. It had been there eversince she kept staying there to read documents as her secretary, Mr. Shiba took care of it.
Now all that was left was for him to come out.
...
Cheng Ming-hùa was showering, the water beadlets dropping down his toned body. It felt like it had been a very long time since he last saw her. That beautiful golden hair had grown longer but she looked sleep deprived. The way she took care of him without uttering a single word of complaint still made him chuckle from time to time.
When he finished bathing, he headed outside the bathroom and wearing nothing but a towel that was wrapped on his hips.
To his surprise, there was a bag with men's clothes hanging on the door knob. He smiled, this woman never failed to surprise him in the slightest.
After changing into the set of pyjamas she got for him, he headed towards her office and found her there, placing pillows on the bed, he knocked slightly
”ah Mr. Cheng, did the clothes fit you well?” she asked, still fiddling with the bed cover
”en”
”that's good then. Do you need me for anything else?”
'how about being my wife?' he thought but didn't dare to voice it out, afraid that she might go running for the hills.
”Why not ask?” he asked, wondering why it didn't seem to bother her that he was here.
”hmm? I'm just waiting for you to tell me Mr. Cheng, that is, if you'd like to.”
”I'll tell you”
