37 A Month Without Anna (1/2)

”Where is my new secretary?!” Cheng Ming-hùa suddenly shouted

The start of this month had been stressful for him. Everyday, he had to interact with people without anybody understanding him. He even had to speak a lot for them!

”Um! I'm here Mr. Cheng, I'm sorry I'm late!” a woman with audaciously long lashes huffed out. She had a caked up face that now looked disgusting as if she had come from trash and a very tightly fit suit that rubbed on her skin. Her eyes fluttered whenever she looked at him and her face clearly showed her feelings for him. Disgusting.

”There was a traffic jam and...umm--”

'hmph, completely different from Anna! She would never show such a disgusting sight!'

”late?” after that word, he scrunched up his eyebrows in annoyance ”you're fired”

the woman who just got hired and had prepared herself fully all morning had shown her shocked face.

”but..but Mr. Cheng! you can't do this to me!” she exclaimed

”I can” he glared at her ”I just did”

he pressed the button on his telephone to call security, soon, the woman was taken away. He didn't even bother for her name.

”I want a proper one hired by tomorrow, the standards set should be like Anna Lin!”

Security Guards: ahhh this is already the fifth one

the people who worked for him: boss..why did you send Ms. Anna away then?

the people who need to hire one: boss, should we just get Ms. Lin back..?

but of course no one would dare voice out their thoughts, fearing in provoking this devilish king.
