82 Guess What Day It Is! (1/2)
She was laying on her belly, out in the grass. She leaned her cheek into her hand as she kicked her legs back and forth in the air.
A few steps away was the garden, withholding poisonous flowers and beautiful roses. 'Arius must have some sort of obsession with the color red.' She thought to herself.
”Zuzu!”
Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Arius was walking over, and behind him followed Azlia.
”What a nickname.” Zuna said sarcastically as she glanced at him. Noticing something else though, her attention was taken by Azlia, as she made a beeline for the garden.
Arius's first thought was to stop the puppy from getting near Zuna. Then, realizing he didn't need to, he calmed down. Once again however, he grew anxious. The garden!
Zuna sprung into a kneeling position and lunged for the puppy while still on the ground. She was lucky enough to capture the ball of fluff. She leaned back into a sitting position with the puppy in her arms, which was struggling to get away.
Arius was beside her now, sitting down along with her. ”Suppose I might need to have someone build a fence.”
”Shouldn't you think about fixing the wall?” Zuna spoke without lifting her gaze from Azlia. Running a hand through her fur and then smiling contentedly.
”It's not my priority.”
”Your priority is Azlia then?”
”Her, and you! Today is the day after all! Go ahead, guess what day it is.”
”I know what day it is, I don't have to guess.”
Arius looked at Zuna with a steady gaze and soon spoke, ”Don't worry too much about Tibet. You two will make up and go back to being friends.”
”Are you sure?” Zuna narrowed her gaze at Arius.
”Definitely. If he doesn't forgive you, Eirik will pummel him.” Arius leaned back into the grass with his hands supporting the back of his head.
”Uh huh.” Zuna rolled her eyes, along with a movement of waving a dismissive hand in the air.
”Hey.”
”Hm?” Zuna looked at him.
”I love you.”
