”Do you mind if I ask about what you saw?” With one hand of the wheel, Arius looked over at Asrael.

”Huh?”

”Yesterday. What scares you?”

Asrael smiled with a sense of melancholy. ”I didn't know I was afraid of anything.”

”What was it?” Arius asked, pushing Asrael to continue.

”I... I was looking down at my hands- They were bloody.” Asrael leaned back in the seat. ”And when I looked up...” Asrael stopped smiling.

Arius stayed silent, he was prepared for him to be unable to say anything, and that would be fine. Though, he still wanted to hear more.

”I can't say...” Asrael looked out the window.

”You don't have to.” Arius told him.

Besides Asrael giving directions to Arius, it was silent. Arius speculated all the things that Asrael could have seen, and like most things, it probably relates to his mom.

Arius could see that Asrael was much more cooperative since he'd seen what he'd seen. It could always be an act, but Arius didn't doubt Eirik's ability even for a second.

”We're here.” Asrael told Arius. He nodded, then found a place to park the car. The two had nothing planned as they opened the car doors and walked out.

Arius came to a sudden realization.

”It's the abandoned factory!” Arius exclaimed. He hadn't realized it since they took a different route, but now he could clearly see the familiar fence and grey cement holding the building together.

”You know it?” Asrael looked over with his eyes squinted and head tilted.

”Yea, if you hadn't moved to Piper street we might've met here.” Arius crossed his arms and nodded.

”Small world.” Asrael moved his legs, heading towards the front of the building. He knocked, no one answered. He knocked again, no one answered. He turned the door nob, it was locked.
