26 Eternal Leader? (1/2)

”How old is he then?” Asrael didn't seem impressed.

”More than 2000!” Zuna crossed her arms over her chest.

”Well I'm still older than you.” Asrael refuted.

”Even Dante is older than me, so that's not very impressive.” Zuna shook her head, feigning disappointment.

”Asrael, how old are you exactly?” Arius asked.

”I don't know, 800 maybe.” Asrael leaned back in his seat.

”Why don't you look closer to Dante's age then?” Arius inquired.

”I once held one of the Phyrraium crystals in my possession for seven years, so I aged like a mortal during those seven years.” Asrael shrugged.

”One of them?” Arius asked thoughtfully.

”You didn't think there was only one Phyrraium crystal in existence, did you?” Asrael smiled mockingly.

”Then how many are there?” Eirik joined the conversation.

”Who knows?” Asrael smirked.

”Do you know, or not?” Zuna said with an attitude.

”Nope.” Asrael chuckled.

Arius sighed loudly, ”We're there, so let's just eat our icecream. We can finish talking when we get home.”

Arius parked the car, then without missing a beat, the group in the back shuffled out. Eirik wasn't in a hurry, and neither was Arius.

Zuna and Dante were much faster as they ran, while Eirik and Arius were side by side. ”You're the immortal that got shot in the head and stood back up again, right?” Arius asked him.

”No.” Eirik denied.

”Asrael?” Arius turned around to look at the teenager.

”Maybe, I get shot a lot.” Asrael shrugged with arrogance. His demeanor changed as he thought of something though. ”But wasn't it the eternal leader that got shot?”
