52 Shimla sight seeing.... (1/2)

Prakruth hired a car to see places in and around Shimla.... Punya and Jyoti sat with Narmada in second row and Prakruth sat with the driver in the front seat.

First they visited the famous Christ church to get blessings of almighty Jesus.

”The architecture here is so beautiful, how much old is this?” asked Narmada entering the church.

”Aunty it is inscribed on this stone, look here” answered Jyoti.

All of them kneeled in front of Jesus and prayed with eyes closed.

”Peaceful place Prakruth... Thanks” said Narmada. Prakruth responded by a smile ”My pleasure”.

From there they took another 20 minutes to reach Tara devi temple, which is quite famous temple on a hill.

Jyoti and Punya ran out of the car, ”Wow, whole Shimla can be seen from here” exclaimed Punya.

”Yeah... It would be awesome if those mountains were covered with snow...” said Jyoti disappointed.

”Yeah I wanted to see it too” said Punya.

”Punya” called Narmada.

All the four of them headed inside the temple to get blessed by powerful goddess Tara devi...

”This Goddess protects the whole Shimla from disasters and people from diseases” explained the main priest.

Narmada sat with her eyes closed inside the temple to engross the divine power. The teens followed her. Positivity filled their souls. Later they visited the serene Chadwick falls, which was known to be frozen throughout the year except in summer. It was flowing to its fullest attracting the maximum number of tourists.

Punya loved the place very much, she was the first to enter water.... But her face turned pale as soon as she stepped into water.

Prakruth chuckled and asked ”What happened?”

”Water is so cold...” she said shivering.

Narmada and Jyoti started laughing. Punya frowned and splashed water at them continuously...

”Hey Punya stop... stop please” pleaded Narmada and Jyoti but she didn't stop.

”Prakruth stop her” ordered Narmada.

Prakruth handed over his belongings to Narmada and got into water. He held her hands. She was reluctant to stop... hence he tightened his grip so that she couldn't move.

”It is hurting... leave” she lied.

He left as he didn't want to hurt her.... She pulled his shirt and pushed into the water.... and started laughing..... When she saw him completely wet.

”Aunty look at her, she must be water angel, she is not scared of depth, flow of water, temperature or anything...” said Jyoti.

”She's not angel, she's a devil” said Prakruth standing firmly in flowing water.

”Be careful then don't approach this devil” she warned.

”I love devils” whispered Prakruth.

She splashed water at him... Jyoti too joined after few minutes. Narmada just sat down at the safer end to watch them play.

After some time of water games, they left to Jakhoo peak.

”Am damn hungry” said Punya.

”Must've drank water tummy full” said Jyoti sarcastically.

Prakruth chuckled saying ”this water angel needs food now” and Punya made teasing faces at him.

He instructed the driver to take them to a good restaurant on the way for lunch.

They reached Jakhoo peak at 3pm. This was one among highest point in Shimla famous for trekking, ropeway and sunset were best seen from this place.

Prakruth suggested ropeway and everyone agreed. Six seats were available in the cable car. Three ladies sat together and Prakruth had to sit opposite to them. There were two more men next to him.

Punya and Prakruth were texting each other,

Prakruth: ”How is this place Punya?”

Punya: ”It is picturesque”

Prakruth: ”Look towards your left, there are some mountains with ice cap”
