56 Marriage Announcemen (2/2)

Both were having a merry time until the organizer reached Aliya.

”Excuse me ma'am. Your seat is in the 7th table.” said the organizer with a small smile

”Table? But... Aliya was puzzled. But before she could continue the organizer again said

”Rishi sir has shifted your seat. Please follow me.”

”Ummm.... Okay. Excuse me.” she said while turning to Raghav

”Have a nice time!” replied Raghav with a 'broken heart'

There were various speeches by different personalities. Aliya was now getting bored. The table besides which she sat was shared by Mr.Gera. He was listening everything with rapt attention as if there was a test on the same tomorrow. Whenever Aliya used to initiate a conversation, he used to shut her up. In between Rishi was speaking, but he too 'bored' Aliya in the same way. Her stomach was grumbling. The aroma of flowers was now mixed with the flavours of infinite delicacies. Even though she had restrictions on eating, she found this smell too tempting. But what then shifted her attentionwas Rishi's mother. Her mother, Radhika was now giving a thank you speech. Aliya knew that her mother was a proud lady. So she was planning to pay some heed what her mother would speak.

.......... My son has proved that he respects ladies and can't see them getting harassed. What happened with Aliya, I have sympathy for her. My son also has the same. Other than a BOSS and EMPLOYEE relationship he has nothing to do with his employees...”

Aliya shook her head and smiled at his mother's emphasis on 'boss and employee'. This one action made Aliya understand that this lady will be tough to deal with. She took the glass of juice kept in front of her and had a sip

Aliya spat everything she had in her mouth on the table. There was a huge applause followed by this marriage announcement. So no one could hear Aliya coughing badly except Mr.Gera
