44 Only Angelique Knows The Whole Truth (1/2)

Later that afternoon

Scott called Jordon to pick Angelique up. As she walked out of the door and entered Jordon car, Scott watched her from his study as she entered the passenger seat and drove away.

In the car, Angelique was still half asleep and looking pale. She tried to suppress her feelings and avoid Jordon from noticing.

As they were heading home, Angelique notice they were taking a different turn and it's not the way to her house. ”Jordon, I think you took the wrong turn…”

Jordon did not respond to Angelique and continued to drive away.

When Angelique notice the street sign, she sighed as she realize where they were heading. ”Jordon, I'm perfectly fine you know, there's no need for us to head there.”

Jordon continues to ignore her until they got to where they were heading. Outside Jamie was waiting for them wearing his lab coat.

As the car stop in front of him, Jamie opened the passenger seat and saw Angelique looking pale inside. ”Come on, let's go inside.”

Angelique who was helpless at the moment followed Jamie inside the hospital. As Jordon went to look for a parking spot.

Jamie brought Angelique inside his office and asked the nurse to do the test. As the nurse took her blood Jamie held her hand as she clenched onto him, Jamie stood by her side as the nurse continue to take all the necessary test.

After the nurse took all the test, Jamie got Angelique IV ready. Angelique crenched her face as Jamie insert the needle for her IV.

Jamie careful insert the needle and said, ”Does it hurt?”

Angelique shake her head as she looked away as he continued to insert the needle and connect the IV. Afterwards, Jamie left Angelique alone to rest as he waited for her results.

Jamie walked out for a bit and noticed Jordon who was walking towards his office. ”Jamie, how is she?”

”I'm heading to the lab now and ask for her result.” Jamie said. ”You can go inside my office, a nurse is watching her.”
