39 Since The Promise Was Broken (1/2)

Early the next day

In a warm and cosy shop which was filled with the smell of fresh bread and coffee. As it welcome the early birds of society.

Two people in that shop were unwell to work. Both of them look as if they've just returned from war. Their eyes were teary and puffy, with dark circles underneath their eyes. They sighed heavy as they work for the day.

Jordon who was busy managing the front before Corey arrive was already exhausted. Despite he does not have to go to his regular work afterwards. He was exhausted from all the stress last night.

Half way through the day, Jose went to the front and witnessed Jordon who was chatting with Corey about what happened last night. When he heard that Scott have almost killed someone after they've left he felt shivered down his spine.

Jose walked up to them and asked, ”Is Angelique okay?”

The two of them were surprised when Jose pop out from behind them. Jordon signal Jose to have a sit so he can better explain what happened last night, since it seems like he must have overheard their conversation.

”Don't worry Angelique fine, she did faint of course due to the amount of alcohol she has drunk as well as for all the psychologically stress last night too.”

Jose felt relieved she was fine, however he was still curious about one thing. ”So where is Angelique now, is she home? Maybe we should visit her during lunch time.”

Jordon hesitate before answering him back until Corey interrupted him and said. ”No way, Jordon did Scott took Ange home?”

Jose was dumbfound when he heard Angelique is staying at the cold blooded killer house. He was upset but did not react and stayed calm since he still does not know the whole story.

”Yeah, he took her home. We weren't able to stop him anymore after what happened last night. It's better he does what he wants. Anyways, Ange will be fine, seems like the fool is really head over heels towards her again.”

Jose was confused in what Jordon mean ”head over heels again?” He thought Scott was Angelique lover. He was too curious and asked, ”What do you mean again? Isn't Scott Ange lover?”

Corey laughed because Jose was really gullible despite for his age. Jordon pinch his brow as he watch Corey cry out of laughter. Jordon then looked at Jose who was confuse of the situation and pat him on the shoulder.
