She filled in. What's with her face, that people keep on looking at it lately?

She felt her face burned.

”nice name, I'm Jake.”

he said and offer her his hand for a hand shake.

Still, looking at her.

Maria shyly accepted it and they'd shook hands.

She felt her face was on fire.

Then, they'd heard a clearing of throat sound.

Maria abruptly drew her hand back to her side and looked up to see a very serious Tobias.

”hey man!”

Jake greeted him happily and patted his shoulder.

”excuse me sirs.”

Maria shyly excused herself and went inside.

She had a feeling if she won't disappeared there, the atmosphere would become more cold.

She kept on thinking about Tobias. He became distant at her this past few days.

He's talking to her, greeting her but she felt something was off. He seemed to be avoiding her but at the same time wants to be with her.

Her head aches for thinking about it. She better forgot about it. Maybe, Tobias was just be very busy to give her his attention.

What? and why would he gave her his attention? She's just a secretary.

She pushed aside that thought and continue on her work. She was busy reading and checking the folders when a bouquet of sunflower blocked her sight.

She lifted her head to see who gave her this beautiful flowers. She was mortified to saw it was Tobias.

Why was he giving her flowers? Last week was red roses and now, her favorite flower!

”Sir?”

she was confused if he was giving it to her or she just assumed.

”for you.”

he offered and gave her the bouquet.

She felt her face blushed once more.
