49 The Normie Group (1/2)

The one who looked innocent clapped his hands after they all brought out their lunches and all ready to eat.

There are four table in between the eight of them. Dana was sitting beside only Rin and beside Rin was Sylvie and then a boy. In front of them have the same pattern as them. In front of Dana was a girl, then boy and so on.

”Rin, although we are your classmates. Do you know us?”, the guy who clapped his hands treated Rin like a transfer student.

”Umm…”, Rin scratched his head, he pointed his finger starting to the girl in front of Dana and said, ”Andrea, the quiet and sweet girl in the class.”, Andre who has a mature hairstyle smiled.

”Atta, the cool guy.”, Atta, the blonde guy nodded in satisfaction.

”Mika, the shy pretty girl and the honor student of the class.”, Mika turned her head away, seemingly surprised. She had no comeback to that but can only laughed awkwardly.

”Jun, the reliable class president.”, Jun, who initiated this smiled.

”Christian, the athletic and popular guy.”, Christian just scratched his head and smiled.

”Lastly, Sylvie, the cute and friendly girl.”, Sylvie just stared at him and didn't react.

”Am I wrong?”

'No, you're just too frank that it made everyone embarrassed.', everyone thought, even those who are eavesdropping.

Dana, on the side, elbowed Rin but he still didn't know what he had done. He was pretty honest and for some, innocent.

Jun waved his hands, ”No, actually you're spot on.”

Everyone was silent and it was getting awkward. They were all smiling and was flattered with Rin's word but they don't know how to react to that kind of direct.

However, a savior comes in. The door opened and Teacher Hannah wrote something on the board. It was a textbook number pages for an assignment.

'Perfect!', Jun felt relief, ”What? An assignment? Rin, want to join us to do that?”, he pointed at the board.

”Sure, but where and when?”, Rin nodded and opened his lunch. Everyone breathed a relief when the tense atmosphere disappeared and followed Rin, they opened their lunches and started to eat.

”We always hit the library aftershool when there's a homework after school”, Jun followed too and opened his lunch.

”Okay.”, Rin took a bite, he then looked at Dana who's the top student of the school, ”Want to join?”

Dana nodded.

After that pairs started to have their own conversation. Andrea and Atta talked to Dana.

Jun, Mika, and Christian held their own conversation too. While Sylvie secretly tapped on Rin's side to get his attention.

”Hm?”, Rin turned to her.

”Hey, I have a lot of questions but first of all…”, Sylvie paused her whispering and glanced at Dana. Dana was still chatting with Andrea and Atta so Sylvie decided that she should continue, ”How did you make Dana back to normal?”

”Back to normal? What do you mean?”, Rin narrowed his eyes in wonder.
