29 Moving (2/2)

Yuna shoved Max's shoulder lightly making him stop with his pathetic acting skills. Whenever he started speaking in third person, she had an urge to tease him but doing that in front of their daughter seemed awkward.

”Just until we're rich and famous, then you can come acknowledge me in public all you want.”

As the family of three interacted joyfully, Aria wandered out of the room and started unpacking her clothes into her closet. The moving company and Max had both been huge helps, but there was no way she was going to let a stranger put her clothes away. Internally, she felt a bit of doubt about her decision to do this. She wasn't scared of being a CEO, instead she was terrified she would fail her friend and be the reason she doesn't succeed.

With Aika's beauty and figure, even if she wasn't talented in the slightest a big company would surely take her in and train her until she was famous. She was 176cm tall and towered over her, and her height only served to further emphasize her excellent figure. Before the negative thoughts could fully take over, Aika came running in and dragged her out of her room.

”Come say bye to Mama and Dad with me.”

When they got back out to the living room, Aria smiled at the two older people and called out, ”Thank you for helping us move, Mr. and Ms. Suzuki.”

After Aria spoke, Aika waved at her parents and called out as well, ”Thanks Mama, Dad.”

”Ohh look how cute they are, honey!” Max didn't even try to whisper and just looked at his wife with obvious joy. Lowering his voice, he actually whispered for the first time in years, ”Wouldn't it be great if they got married, then we would have two adorable daughters and no awful man who would take advantage!”

Yuna was about to push him away like usual before she realized what he said actually made a little bit of sense and nodded her head unconsciously. A moment later, she cleared her throat and the thoughts away at the same time. ”We're expecting a call every week, Aika. Be good and don't go putting too much pressure on your soon to be CEO...”

Pouting, Aika nodded and waved one last time before her parents turned and walked out the door.
