47 Daddy I want a kiss too (2/2)

Just then, the lift opens, Cheng Ze is standing in front of them. She froze.

”Are you coming out or are you going back up?”

'Is this for real or I'm hallucinating?' she looked at him in disbelief.

”Daddy!” Sofia called him excitedly. ”Why are you here? How did you know we're here? Nana told me stories about you.” she couldn't stop talking.

”Sofia calm down. Don't disturb Uncle Cheng Ze. I think he is busy right now. We should go.” it's pretty obvious that she's trying to avoid him.

He bends down and talks to Sofia ”I'm not busy! I think I prefer daddy than an uncle. It sounds better don't you think Sofia? Nana?” he smiled warmly at Sofia.

”It's my mother, she calls her nana. I didn't know she was telling her stories about you. I'm sorry it will not happen...”

”Its okay Ji An. Why you look and sound nervous? Is it okay if she calls me daddy?” he looked straight in her eye.

Ji An couldn't stand his stare. ”We should move first, we are blocking the lift, people might want to use it and....”

She won't stop talking until he cut her off. ”Ji An calm down! No wonder your daughter is like you. You talk a lot when you get nervous and excited.” he then looked at Sofia and carried her.

'What? I'm excited? About what?' she thought. ”Cheng Ze, where are you taking my daughter? Where are you going? Aren't you here for something?” she followed him.

”Yeah, I was actually going to talk your husband about business but seems like he's not there.”

”Husband? You mean my EX-HUSBAND!!! oh he is there. He's with a woman actually!” she got mad at him for referring Eric as her husband.

”So are you jealous that he has a woman in his room?” he asked with no emotion.

”No! Of course not! I'm mad at you for calling him my husband.” she explained.

Her words made him happy. 'So she doesn't have any feelings for him anymore?' ”Let's go out and let's pretend we are one happy family! Is that okay with you Sofia?”

”Wait, what? No Cheng Ze don't do this to my daughter. Please, it's not good to make her get close to you, you're getting married aren't you?” she's worried for her daughter.

”Come here my dear wife, stop talking or else I will kiss that lips of yours to shut you up,” he spoke in Chinese so Sofia will not understand it. He took her hand and held it tightly so she can't run away from him.

She didn't felt embarrassed, she's just worried that his fiancee will see them and they'll end up fighting. She doesn't want to be the reason for the possible argument.

Cheng Ze put Sofia at the back seat and secured her with the seatbelt. He then opens the door at the front for Ji An. But Ji An won't go in. ”Are you joining us or I'm taking Sofia by myself?”

Ji An rushed inside when he said that. No way she's letting him take her daughter. ”Where are we going? We didn't have breakfast yet. I was planning to eat with Er...”

”Well I'm your husband for today, aren't I? Let me take my wife and daughter for breakfast. My little darling Sofia, where do you want to eat?” he looked at her through the mirror.

”I want to eat pancake and some ice cream. Mummy can I eat ice cream?” she made a pitiful face.

”She looks just like you. She behaves like you too. Acting all cute. Do you know, even if you say no, I will still let her have ice cream?” he let out a laugh.

”What do you mean? She's my daughter obviously she'll be like me. We don't act cute okay, and no ice cream. Too early for ice cream.” she gave him a pout. Acting like his wife. 'Oh my God! What am I doing? Wake up Ji An! This is not real.'

”Look at that pout, makes wanna kiss those lips” he bit his lower lips, just the thought of kissing her makes him excited like a teenager.

It made Ji An blushed. She remembers that night when he got her mind messed up. She felt like she was tamed by him.

”Daddy I want a kiss too.” Sofia suddenly spoke and stopped Ji Ans thoughts.

”But of course my darling, let me take you to Tiger Pancake House first and get those pancakes for you. Once you finish your food, I'll give you loads of kisses.” he is acting like her real father.

Ji An couldn't understand why he is behaving like this. 'What is he doing?'
