46 Make me your top priority! (1/2)

Cheng Ze woke up early. He cooked breakfast for her. He remembered the last time she's there, she didn't like onions and fish. He avoided those.

When Ji An woke up, she realised she didn't call her mother last night. So she dialled her number and call her.

”Ma I'm sorry, I couldn't come home last night and I forgot to call you...”

”Cheng Ze called me last night and he said you are sleeping at his villa and that he will bring you here in the morning. Sofia had her breakfast already so don't worry about her. I'll see you later.”

”Ma thank you, bye!”

Ji An went to the bathroom to clean herself. She got herself ready and head downstairs.

”Good morning.” She greeted.

”You're awake! Good morning. Let's have breakfast.” he has a very different vibe this morning. ”I'll take you home after breakfast. I spoke to mothe...” he looked at her, ”to your mother already.”

”Hmm... She told me. Thank you!”

The doorbell rang.

'Could it be Li Wei? Is it that important he has to come early.' ”I'll go and see who's on the door.”

As he opens the door, he totally forgot he was engaged with this woman. ”Lori!?! What brought you here?”

”Babe, I miss you so much. I didn't get to see you yesterday you were so busy.” Lori hugged him and gave him a kiss on his lips.

”What time are you leaving home for work?” she walks in.

”Do you want me to drop you off? Should I take you now?” he doesn't want her to see Ji An.

”I'm not in a hurry. How about let's eat breakfast hmm? What do you say?”

”Sure! Let's go!” he led her out the house.

Ji An saw everything. She felt like a dagger stabbed her heart and ripped it. 'He must have felt like dying when he saw me in my wedding dress that night.' ”I don't regret what happened on my wedding night though.” she smiled painfully.

How can she eat breakfast now on her own? Cheng Ze's eating out, she doesn't know what to do. ”Should I clean it? Throw them away? I think I'll just leave it.”

She called her mother and asked her if she could send her the car to collect her. Madam Gu understood and she sent her driver to pick her up.

Cheng Ze tries to escape Lori as fast as he can. Ji An is alone in his villa. He doesn't want her to eat on her own. He promised her that he will take her back home.

”Cheng Ze, should I set a date for our wedding? My parents are bugging me about it. They said I'm getting old and they want grandchildren.” She gave him a smile.

”I'm busy this coming month, actually I'll be busy until the expansion is approved and ready to go through.” He sighs ”How about I'll speak to them?”

”Do you really want this marriage to happen? You always have an excuse! All I get from you is a kiss on my forehead! Does that make sense? We can sleep together, I'm allowing you to sleep with me, why don't you? We slept together before we even got engaged, what's the difference now? Cheng Ze I have been waiting for you for 5 years? Can you come to me now?” she is so upset and angry.

”Lori, I thought you understand? Marriage is a serious matter. I already told you I will marry you. I'm just asking you for a.....”

”No! I want to get married as soon as possible. I want to be your top priority! Make me!” she left and stomp off. She hailed a taxi.

Cheng Ze felt bad, but right now, he must go back home. He stood up and left quickly.

When he arrived home. Ji An is no longer there. The food he cooked is untouched. He got his self ready to go to work.

Ji An got home and her daughter runs to her to hug her. ”Hey, Sofia. Good morning. Have you been a good girl for Nana?”

”I'm always a good girl” she grinned. ”When are we going to see daddy?”

”Before we go see daddy, I have something to tell you. It's very important. So you have to listen carefully. Okay?”

Sofia nodded. Madam Gu is listening to their conversation.
