Cheng Ze works at the office as the CEO but all the major decision is decided by the chairman, without his father's approval, Cheng Ze cannot proceed. Li Wei always supported Cheng Ze so when Li Wei was on his holiday, Cheng Ze cannot do much, he relies on Li Wei a lot, too much actually.
Lori kept bugging him and asking him to go on a date. She's really trying to make Cheng Ze fall for her. She doesn't mind what Cheng Ze had told her that he only wants her money or that he will only use her for his own benefit. As long as they will get married and be together its okay with her.
For that month that Li Wei wasn't in the office, Cheng Ze told his father that he will take Lori out for dates and he wanted to take her to thePhilippines to go to the beach. Gu Feng agreed and he is happy that his son is making an effort. He didn't mind working and covering for his son as long Lori and Cheng Ze will make progress.
Lori is so excited. Not because they will be travelling but because she is with the man of her dreams. Cheng Ze even went further by wearing couple items and shirts.
When they got to Boracay, both of them were amazed by how the whole place looked. Beach is like a dream the water is very inviting. Though Cheng Ze tried to be very mean to her, the setting and the mood brightened him up. At the end he enjoyed her company and they had fun together.
Without Li Wei to ordered about, Lori and Cheng Ze had to things on their own. Cheng Ze got to know Lori more and his attitude towards her changed. Lori fell for him even more.
While they are eating dinner, Cheng Ze remembered something and he asked Lori about it. ”Lori, I know this happened long ago but I just remembered it. When you took me home from the Gala, when I got myself really drunk...”
”Yeah yeah. Of course I remember! I took you home that night. You gave me your villa address. There was a woman in your villa. Who is she by the way?” Lori asked casually.
”Yeah that.... what happened?”
”What do you mean what happened? She kicked me out your villa like a jealous wife.”
”Was I really drunk?”
”Well.. since you cant remember even that, you must be totally out of it. Hahaha....” she stop laughing. Who is she?”
”Oh! She's a... no one.” He smiled at her. ”She and I are...” he then changed the topic swiftly ”you know what... this food tastes so good.” He replied.
Lori didn't bother about it. It happened in the past. She is with him right now, thats what matters to her. If she's just a one night stand to him, the better. Her only goal is to get married to him. And tonight, her goal is to sleep with him. After all they have been in good terms and become close to each other. She is his fiancee so why not.
After dinner they had a little walk along the beach. ”Cheng Ze... should we take our relationship to the next level? I mean we are engaged and I can tell that we have some connections here and you are enjoying my company.. so what I'm saying here is..... maybe we can kiss?” She smiled softly. ”We kissed before I know, but now its different. I just want to...”
