11 Do you have a boyfriend? (1/1)

Two months past after Zarah's hen party and Ji An is feeling a bit unwell. She felt sick and she's thinking it's probably the food she had, maybe a bit off. She's not usually picky with her food but lately she's being so picky and the food she usually likes, she now hates and the food she hates, she now likes.

Every morning she feels sick and every time she smell onions or fish she will immediately throw up. Today she is craving for steak, shrimp dumplings, steamed milk pudding, red apples, red grapes, dried tofu and nuts.

It's hard to get all the food she is craving for while she is in Uni, plus she's staying in a flat with her friend Alice. Alice is doing the same class as her. They became best friends shortly after meeting each other 4 years ago. Alice came from a rich family. But she is keeping it low profile so she can find real friends that are not after her money.

Alice got curious and asked Ji An. ”Ji An, had you had your period?”

It made Ji An thinking. She realised she haven't had it since last month. ”No. I didn't had it last month either. Why?”

”Do you have a boyfriend? Is there something you are not telling me? Come on Ji I'm your best friend. Who is this boyfriend of yours? Spill! Is he the guy from China? When did he come over? He did made sure that you'll fall pregnant.”

”What did you just say?!?! Ji An asked Alice.

”You are pregnant aren't you?”

”Nooo.. noo! I can't be! This is probably some kind of bug! I think I should get it checked out”

”I think, the best thing to do is to get a pregnancy test first. When it's confirm you better tell your dad and go to your GP.” Alice advised Ji An.

”It must be a bug! I don't have a boyfriend. You will be the first one to know if I have one!” Ji An replied.

”Because you want that guy from China. All the handsome guys are after you but you're turning them down for him. Who knows if he is already married or have kids or maybe he got his self a pretty girlfriend. Come on Ji how long has it been! Five freaking years and you are still here single! Move on Ji An! Right, that's my nagging for today, now what are you gonna do if you are indeed pregnant? Who is the father?”

”I do...n.....'t kno.....w.”

”What do you mean you don't know. Obviously you had sex with someone and you know that person, right?”

Ji An doesn't know what to say. She remember Zarah's hen party in London and that guy, that room, those kiss marks.

”Alice please get me a pregnancy test kit. I'll do it today! I have to find out if I am..... oh god how am I going to tell my dad. I can't be.” Ji An started to worry and panic. She know her dad well, his health is not so good lately because of work he's having health issues.
