”I am staying here with you. So where are you?”
Staying with me? ”But I thought you're staying at-”
”Really Cass? Me, staying with them?”
”Oh yeah. Well, I'm going on a hike today and staying in a house somewhere at the top. I think I'll be able to go back after a week.”
”Sht.”
”What's wrong with you?”
”Nothing. I'm going now. Bye.” *toot toot*
Well, that was a bit moody for Ethan.
”Who was that?”
”Oh, a college friend. He recently came back from Japan and wished for some get-together. But I didn't know he was arriving today.” A lie. Why am I so good at lying?
Minho remained quiet. Does he think otherwise?
”Uh Minho are we still far?”
”Hm, sort of. You can go back to sleep if you want.”
”No need. I can see clearly the view outside now.”
The whole ride was filled with my oohs and aahs. I documented the whole journey, took a video and a lot of photos.
”You know Minho, this is one of the reasons why I love traveling. I love watching the trees, the mountains with all its magnificence. I love how everything is beautifully done. I so so love it. It's a feast for my eyes.”
Minho chuckled. ”Then, we need to travel more.”
”Yes indeed. We need to. Omg. I can't wait.”
Just then, Minho made a right turn and there I saw the name, Jade Resort. Wow, I thought we're staying at the top?
As soon as he parked, I immediately went out of the car and roamed my eyes around the place. Eh, something's wrong. Why is it so quiet in here?
”Uh, Minho why are we here?”
”Of course we need a place to park the car. This is the nearest place.”
”But why are there no other people?”
”Because I own this.”
”Damn fcking rich.” I said under my breath.
”What was that again Cassidy?” He closed in on me, and whispered behind my ear, ”I think we have to discipline that mouth of yours.”
I shivered, ”How are you gonna do that?”
He leaned back and grinned mischievously, ”You'll see.”
I took a step back. Minho didn't even notice it because he was raising his hands as if to welcome me.
”So, I haven't officially introduced you to this place. Cassidy, welcome to Jade Mountain!”
