21 THATs MY DRINK! (2/2)

I nodded helplessly. Oh to hell with this. Just this once.

When the waiter left, Ash asked the two about their stay in the US. I sat there and listened and looked at Gina and Minho carefully.

Gina is a petite fair, lady with wavy, brown hair. She has a round tiny face, big blue eyes, short nose and a smiling lips with perfect set of teeth. She complements Ash in all ways as she always smiles, just like Ash.

Minho is a tall guy having an oval face with a chiseled jawline and a long, pointed nose. His half-open lips are such a temptation. His unruly black hair makes you want to fix it and weave your fingers through its soft strands. But his eyes, oh that damned eyes, so beautiful. His almond-shaped honey-brown eyes ensnares your soul. It's just so lovely, alluring, seductive.

After a couple of minutes talking about their life in the US, our order arrived.

Ash stood up, raised his glass and said looking at me, ”Cass, be with me.” I stood up and raised my glass as well.

”Welcome back Gina, my love. And to you, my darling, Minho.” We all clinked glasses while laughing.

Gina was the first to recover. ”Love, I didn't know you're crossing over. Are you leaving me behind?”

”Of course not baby. I love Minho, but I love you more.” And he kissed Gina.

I am deeply happy for my friend. I thought I'd feel bitter but here I am, rooting for them to be together forever. I hope I'll have that kind of love. But I'm not in a hurry, all in due time.

We continued chatting and drinking and eating. I didn't know how many glasses I've drank but I guess I've got too much because the world's dancing. And I felt so sleepy. Ash and Gina excused themselves for a dance. I barely managed a nod.

I placed my elbows on my knees, my head resting on my palms. My head's starting to spin.

”Hey? You okay?” I looked at the direction of where the voice is coming from.

”Minho? Why are you here? Don't you wanna dance?”

”But, who's gonna stay with you?”

I laughed. ”Oh you don't need to babysit me. I'll be fine. Go go!” I shooed him out the booth.

He frowned. ”No. I really don't like dancing. I'd rather stay here with you.”

And then he met my eyes. The look he gives me is so intense that it makes me all stuffy inside. I downed another glass on impulse.

”Hey! Don't drink that-” Too late. I've finished it all.

”That's my drink.” He said breathlessly.

My eyes widened. And before I could confirm it, I collapsed on the chair.
