120 Her Reason 1 (1/2)
A woman in her early thirties stood in front of the girl's bedroom. She wore her fluttery white dress as she held her black-hard suitcase. She told the little girl, ”Kezia, take care of yourself. Be a good girl when mom's away.”
Kezia's voice was shaky, she clutched her blue clothes, tears fell from her cheeks, she shouted at her mother ”Mom, where are you going?! Don't leave! Please let me come with you!”
She halted her smile and answered short, ”No, you can't. Stay with your father.” Kezia pouted her small lips and looked down with an annoyed feeling. She also wanted to come with her mother!
She looked at her mother with difficulty,”Mom, when will you come back? Next week, we'll have a parents day meeting. The teacher said she'll give me a reward for my drawing! Dad said he couldn't come, so the only who can is you, Mom. So, please! Please! Come! Promise me you'll come!”
Her mother curved her lips as she patted her hair. ”I will.”
She bid goodbye to her and left the house. Kezia looked at her departing figure as she bit her lips. She was gasping and rubbed her wet face with one of her hands. Her eyes were red, she wailed and buried her face to her cat doll in her other hand.
Her mother was weird today as well. She consciously stared at the outside window all the time, looking with a blank face and sobbing at night. She never showed her pretty smile again and her usual routine to tell her bedtime stories. Her constant odd behavior made Kezia worried, she felt bad for her mother.
In truth, she knew why her mother feeling like that. She was having arguments with her father. It wasn't their first fight, but that night was special because Kezia witnessed it with her curious thoughts. She didn't know what they were talking about. But she could hear a wine bottle crash, leaving a stain on the floor. It followed by other things as well.
She peeked her little head and looked at her mother covered her eyes, turned her back as she faced the window. Her father left her as he closed the door loudly. Bam! He strode his legs outside without noticing Kezia hiding behind the wall.
Although she didn't hear the full story. She heard a word which she learned today at school. 'Divorce'. Was this the reason?
When she looked at her mother's dress and the huge suitcase she brought. She didn't know why but she felt ominous inside. She diverted her presumption as she hoped her mother would keep her promise. She trusted her. She trusted her how she would never abandon her own daughter.
But, as Kezia predicted, she broke her promise. She didn't come to school. She would never come back.

She was his father former secretary. She once saw her came to the house, she was delivering important files to Ranbo Ginga. So, Kezia knew about her before. While Lucy, herself, didn't have time to see Kezia because she was preoccupied with her own task.
