Chapter 753 - You Still Want Me To Give Birth More (1/2)
Xian Guiying stared at the man who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
She looked at him for a long time, and even his clothes looked as if they had not been changed for several days. His hair was fluffy, but he still looked the same.
While she was still in a daze, the nurse called her again. Then, she hurriedly turned around and walked inside. Qin Gengxin followed her and told the nurse that he was her husband.
”Your baby is almost seven weeks old,” the doctor said after an ultrasound. ”You have to take care of your diet. Don't exercise too hard. Remember to buy some nutrients and eat them every day.”
Qin Gengxin held the list and looked at it for a long time, not understanding. He tilted his head and asked, ”Doctor, how many pregnancies has she had?”
The doctor was startled by his question. ”How many?”
”I mean, how many births did she carry?”
The doctor: ”…”
Xian Guiying got down from the bed and stopped looking at the doctor.
The doctor then laughed out loud, ”Sir, how many children do you want? It's one. If you want twins or something, try again next time.”
Then, Qin Gengxin was dragged out by Xian Guiying.
”Why is there only one? Why did Xian Zihao have two? Your Xian Family genes don't allow you to have twins.” Qin Gengxin was still mumbling when he came out.
Xian Guiying didn't know whether she was supposed to laugh or cry. ”This is our second child, you still want me to carry a few more? Taking care of a baby is pretty tiring, and you really want me to have two kids at once like my sister-in-law did?”
”I just thought that if we can have two at a time, then we won't have any more children in the future…”
”What is it? You still want me to give birth more? Do you take me for a birth machine?”
Qin Gengxin smiled but said nothing. As they both walked out of the examination room heading for the elevator, Xian Guiying suddenly stopped talking. The elevator doors opened and closed, but no one other than them entered.
”Why haven't you contacted me these past few days?”
”Let's go back and talk.” Qin Gengxin hugged her gently. ”Don't get mad, hmm? We'll discuss it when we get home, and I'll tell you all about it.”
”Alright, then you tell me first, how's your company?” Xian Guiying knew that many things must have happened to him in these few days.
”Since I'm standing here, of course, my Qin is fine. As the saying goes, evil can't possibly beat goodness, how can I be mistreated by an old woman?” Qin Gengxin smiled and hugged Xian Guiying as they stepped out of the elevator.
On the way back, Xian Guiying was the one driving. Qin Gengxin sat in the front passenger seat with his eyes closed and fell asleep. He seemed exhausted.
