”I was in my office, standing at the window and watching you.” Wei Zhengsheng calmly explained and reached out to support Xian Guiying. He saw that her face was pale and she couldn't even stand up straight. ”Guiying?”
”My stomach hurts a little. Zhengsheng, Mrs. Bai is playing dirty. I can't contact Qin Gengxin right now, but someone was following me. They probably wanted to use us to threaten Qin Gengxin. Please do me a favor.”
”Alright, let's go up first.” Seeing her in such a bad state, Wei Zhengsheng helped her walk towards the elevator. Secretary Dai quickly followed with Qin Wenqian in her arms.
They went straight to the resting room on the top floor. Usually, only Xian Zihao, Xian Guiying, and Wei Zhengsheng were able to come up here.
Wei Zhengsheng helped Xian Guiying to sit on the couch. When he looked down, he saw her forehead was covered in sweat. He stroked her forehead gently and turned around. ”Secretary Dai, call a doctor.”
”I already called the doctor before I came in.”
Wei Zhengsheng nodded and indicated for her to carry the child to the next resting room to rest.
After they left, Wei Zhengsheng asked, ”What happened? Why didn't you call me before you came?”
”I'm afraid you're busy, so I don't want to disturb you.” Xian Guiying said in a low voice. ”Zhengsheng, let's not talk about anything else for now. Try to help me contact Qin Gengxin or the people around him.”
Wei Zhengsheng nodded slightly. ”Okay.”
Xian Guiying covered her stomach and said, ”I hope it's not what I thought. If it's really like that, then Mrs. Bai's guts are too big. She's trying to use the underworld to make trouble. I don't know if Qin Gengxin is prepared for this, but according to my understanding of him, he should know about this, but I can't contact him now. I don't know what happened.”
