Chapter 727 - Visiting The Qin Family IV (1/2)

Old Man Xian looked at everything in the house. He didn't know where Xing Jia had gone, but he knew he couldn't get in randomly. He sighed and said, ”After all these years, she still doesn't want to see me.”

Mrs. Qin acted as if she hadn't heard him and continued playing with Qin Wenqian. The Old Man stood in the middle of the living room, looking a little awkward. Qin Gengxin walked over and said, ”Grandfather, please sit down first. I will go see grandmother.”

Qin Gengxin helped the Old Man sat on the couch nearest to him. Mrs. Qin saw that the Old Man was sitting in her house and slightly frowned, but seeing that her son was helping him sit down, she said nothing. She just said casually, ”Gengxin, you know your grandmother, don't force her.”

”Mom, I know my limits.” Qin Gengxin glanced at her and went upstairs.

Xian Guiying followed from behind. ”I'll go with you.”

Mrs. Qin immediately raised her head to look at Xian Guiying. She seemed to have a lot of things she wanted to convey to her daughter-in-law. After thinking for a moment, she said nothing.

Qin Gengxin glanced at the Old Man, indicating that he needed someone to accompany him. However, the Old Man suddenly waved his hand. ”I'm fine. The Qin Family didn't welcome me, and I couldn't barge through either. You guys can do whatever you want to do. You don't have to accompany me.”

Xian Guiying hesitated for a moment. In the end, she did not follow Qin Gengxin upstairs. Instead, she walked over to the Old Man and patted his shoulder gently. ”Grandfather, grandmother will definitely meet you.”

Old Man Xian, however, didn't speak.

Qin Gengxin walked up the stairs and looked around before going to his grandmother's room. The door closed and he stood outside the door. He tried to open it and it was not locked.

He pushed the door open and saw the Old Woman sitting in her favorite bamboo chair, holding a plastic bag containing her shoes.

”Grandmother.” Qin Gengxin approached her quietly.

However, the Old Woman did not seem to hear him. She just stared at the plastic bag in her hand without blinking.

Qin Gengxin looked at her for a moment, then walked to her side and bent down slightly. He gently put his hand on her back and whispered, ”Grandmother, could it be that I brought him here too suddenly?”

The Old Woman slowly raised her head, her eyes a little cold. She looked at him and said, ”Ask him to leave.”

She closed her eyes and there was no strength in her voice. ”I don't want to see him.”

Qin Gengxin gently hugged her shoulder and placed his chin on her shoulder like he was a spoiled child. He hugged her and said, ”Grandmother, let me tell you, since Xian Tingfeng found out that I am your grandson, he has been thinking of coming to see you. I know that you don't want to forgive him for the rest of your life because of grandfather, but you're old. You don't want to see me so depressed every day, do you?”

”There's no point in you saying that.” The Old Woman sighed, ”Gengxin, I don't care what you know. In short, I don't want to see him. I'm already old, I don't want any emotional change anymore. I also want to live a peaceful life. When I die, I was able to go see your grandfather. He has been waiting for me for years and since I have suffered all my life, that's what I want to do now. You let him go back, okay?”

Qin Gengxin also knew that he couldn't force the issue. After all, it was his grandmother's wish.
