Xian Guiying had just finished undergoing X-ray scanning and she was helped by Wei Zhengsheng out of the clinic. The doctor at the clinic said that she would be fine. After a few days of rest, she would be fine, but she had to stay in the hospital for the observation process.

As soon as they returned to the ward, they saw a figure standing in the doorway.

Xian Guiying was not surprised to see Mrs. Qin. She had long guessed that Mrs. Qin would come looking for her, and she also knew that Qin Wenqian would certainly not recognize her.

Xian Guiying walked back to the room. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail, showing the swollen spots on her forehead. The spot was no longer swollen, but was black and blue.

Seeing Mrs. Qin, Wei Zhengsheng said, ”Mrs. Qin, this is a hospital.”

He clearly reminded her not to cause trouble here.

Mrs. Qin looked at him indifferently, ”I'm old, so I know my limits. Yesterday, I was too angry, and seeing the wound on her head, I really didn't think she would be admitted to the hospital.”

Mrs. Qin immediately looked at her. ”Xian Guiying, even though Qianqian was born from you, I am still the child's biological grandmother. You haven't allowed the child to see us for the past three years, so the child doesn't know anyone from our Qin Family at all!”

”Whatever you do, know this one thing. You can't take MY daughter away from me.” Xian Guiying no longer looked at Mrs. Qin. She walked past her and went inside the ward.

Mrs. Qin stood in place with anger in her eyes. Wei Zhengsheng also walked past her, giving her a brief glance before pushing open the door and entering the ward.

Mrs. Qin took a deep breath and turned to follow him. Suddenly, Qin Gengxin appeared in front of her, blocking her path. He then closed the ward's door, which was slightly open.

”What are you doing?” Mrs. Qin looked at him with dissatisfaction.

”I'm the one who should ask. What are you trying to do?” Qin Gengixin looked at Mrs. Qin indifferently.

Xian Guiying, who was in the ward, heard someone closing the door outside. She turned and looked toward the door. Wei Zhengsheng also turned and looked towards the door. They then looked at each other.

She didn't say anything. Although her head was not severely injured, a slight concussion would cause her head to ache for several days. She was a little tired, so she decided to sit on the bed.

Mrs. Qin looked at her son and hesitated for a moment. She didn't go into the ward anymore. She just walked to the end of the corridor, stood by the window, and looked at the view outside.

Qin Gengxin looked at the situation in the ward through the window. He saw Xian Guying leaning on the bed with her eyes closed. He stared at her for a while before approaching Mrs. Qin.

”Son, in fact, divorcing her is the best option. Other people may not know the relationship between our Qin Family and the Xian Family, but you must have heard those stories from your grandmother since you were young. Your grandmother was hospitalized on the day of your wedding. She hasn't been really happy for a day in years and if you divorce Xian Guiying, your mother will be able to rest.”

Mrs. Qin sighed and said softly, ”Don't blame your mother for being cruel, but can you really ignore your grandfather's death and your grandmother's broken heart for the rest of your life?”

Qin Gengxin was silent for a moment. Then, when Mrs. Qin turned to look at him, he said, ”Guiying is innocent.”
