Chapter 629 - She Definitely Had To Beat Her To The Punch (1/2)

”I just arrived. I was about to go up when I saw you coming out.” Wei Zhengsheng smiled and took the bag from her. ”Are you going to the shop? Let's go together, I'll help you.”

”What are you trying to do? How can someone like you, who can easily earn tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars in business, help me in my little shop?” Xian Guiying smiled and walked out of the building together with him.

”Aren't you the CEO of Xian Enterprise too? If you can, why can't I?” Wei Zhengsheng naturally intertwined their hands together. Xian Guiying gasped in surprise. He held her hand tightly, not giving her any chance to struggle.

Xian Guiying coughed lightly and turned to look at him. Seeing the smile on his face, she didn't say anything.

”Wuyuan is not a big place. Walking from the house to the shop on Square Street only takes me about ten minutes or so. I don't even have to drive.” Xian Guiying said suddenly to rid the sudden awkwardness.

”I can accompany you here every day, but Guiying, you don't belong here. If you want to stay here, at least you should go back to the United States to get married first, right?”

”Who wants to marry you?” The corner of Xian Guiying's mouth twitched. ”I said, Mr. Wei, you are quite shameless now. Do you forget that I'm still not divorced?”

”Who cares? Sooner or later, you still will get divorced.” Wei Zhengsheng smiled and put his arm around her shoulder, ”So what if I'm shameless? You can't change your mind now, it's too late!”

Xian Guiying let out a ”Tch” sound. She then saw a store on East Street selling unique Yunnan jewelry. She saw some wind bells hanging in front of the door. They waved in the wind gently.

”I heard that phoenix bells are very popular in Yunnan.” Wei Zhengsheng also looked at it.

”Yes, they come in a pair. One of them is a dragon bell, it can emit one kind of sound; meanwhile, the phoenix bell would emit another sound. When they are put together, they can emit a third sound.”

”Do you like it?” Wei Zhengsheng walked in front of the jewelry store and picked up a pair of gold dragon and phoenix bells. He fiddled with them with his hand and immediately heard the tinkling sounds.

Xian Guiying pulled him from the store and smiled. ”Why? Are you going to buy it for me? I'm no longer in my early twenties, what's the point of buying such a small accessory?”

”I really like it.” Wei Zhengsheng walked back to the store,  smiling. He spent fifteen yuan and bought a pair of gold phoenix-dragon bells. He hung the phoenix bell on his phone and gave the dragon bell to her. ”Do you want to hang it on your phone or keep it?”

Xian Guiying: ”...”

Seeing that she was very embarrassed and didn't say anything, Wei Zhengsheng hung the dragon bell on a cloth bag around her waist.

”I really didn't expect you, Wei Zhengsheng, to have such a childish nature. Why did you buy this stuff?” Xian Guiying was helpless but smiled as she pinched the dragon bell.

”Haven't you ever heard of it? Once the man reaches an old age, the childishness will come out of his bones.” Wei Zhengsheng held out his hand again. ”Don't forget, I'm already thirty-four.”

Xian Guiying stuck out her tongue and didn't reject his hand. Her gaze then shifted slightly and her footstep abruptly stopped.

Wei Zhengsheng noticed a slight change in her expression and followed her gaze.

”Ying Ying, let's stay in Wuyuan for a few more days. Let's go to Likeng Village, Rainbow Bridge, then ...”

”Stop. I'm going to ask for directions.” Bai Nuying pushed her talking friend to the side, then walked to a nearby store to ask for directions.

”Bai Nuying?” Wei Zhengsheng frowned slightly at the sight of Bai Nuying.

He immediately looked at Xian Guiying and only saw her indifferent expression. Noticing his gaze, she smiled, ”Let's go to the shop. There are a lot of tourists today. I've been closing my shop early for the past few days.”
