”I know.” Xian Guiying nodded. Her expression was unreadable.
Xian Zihao naturally knew his sister's temperament well. Even though Cui Luixian was long gone, she still didn't want to go home.

Wei Zhengsheng was making himself a cup of tea in the pantry outside the meeting room. Upon hearing the meeting room door open, he turned and saw Xian Guiying walking out.
”Secretary Dai, go call the HR manager. My brother is waiting for him inside.” After exiting the meeting room, Xian Guiying immediately called Secretary Dai and gave her instruction.
Watching Secretary Dai leave, Xian Guiying stopped in the middle of the hallway for a moment. Wei Zhengsheng didn't know what she was thinking, nor did she notice his presence in the pantry. He just watched her leaning against the wall quietly.
He sipped his tea calmly and placed the cup in the glass cabinet next to him.
Then, he walked out. He looked at Xian Guiying and slowly walked towards the direction, standing in front of her.
Xian Guiying looked up and saw it was him. With a slight twinkle in her eye, she smiled. ”Why are you still here?”
”I just went for tea. The chairman is going home. Looks like he's recovered well. You can rest assured now.” He said with a faint smile.
Xian Guiying nodded with a smile. ”Yes, he can finally go home. After thinking about my sister-in-law who was still waiting for him, I realized I was really jealous of her.”
Wei Zhengsheng suddenly laughed teasingly, ”Everyone says that women have a strong desire for possession. Your brother and your favorite man only have Jiang Ruolan in their eyes. You said that you're jealous, but you are not really jealous. Are you trying to act too pretentiously?”
Xian Guiying immediately rolled her eyes. She walked towards her office, saying, ”Honestly, there is jealousy, but people have their own lives and beliefs. Family relationships are not comparable to that sense of jealousy. So regarding my brother, yes, I do envy her because she has an outstanding man by her side. As for Qin Gengxin…”
She suddenly smiled and turned her head to look at him. ”A forcefully twisted melon really isn't sweet.¹ I've already lost sight of it.”
When she stopped in front of the office door, she looked at Wei Zhengsheng, who was standing two steps behind her. ”I've already sent the contract. There should be an answer within three days.”
Xian Guiying didn't explain any details. Instead, she opened the office door and walked in before quickly closing it behind her.
Wei Zhengsheng stood outside the door and looked at the closed door quietly with a frown.
It looks like she had seen Bai Nuying.
