Chapter 498 - Jiang Bingqing’s Fate III (1/2)

”Everything you've done to me all these years, even though I don't understand why you have to do it, I endured it all. Besides, at the time, I wasn't sure if it was my mother who did the wrong thing, so I have reason to bear it, but I never imagined that you, Jiang Bingqing, would be so cruel.”

”Bingqing, if I could choose, I would rather never enter the Jiang Family and also prefer not to have a father like Jiang Guanyu. Since you are little, you were afraid that I would snatch his fatherly love, that's why you're trying your best to make him think that he only had you as his daughter and not have the time to even glance at me. Jiang Ruolan turned and looked at the sunset outside the window. She seemed to be reminiscing, but at the same time, there was a hint of a smile on her face, as if everything that had happened earlier was just a passing cloud to her.

”So? Are you here to settle an account with me?” Jiang Bingqing smiled coldly.

”Do I look like I'm here to settle accounts with you?” Jiang Ruolan chuckled slightly. ”Jiang Bingqing, after everything that had happened, I don't think you should be too proud of yourself anymore. I suddenly remembered the words you said to me back then.  We don't look at the past, we don't look at the future, but we look at the present. This is what you said to me before. Today, I will return these words to you. In the end, the person who suffered retribution is not me, but you.”

Jiang Bingqing suddenly stared straight at Jiang Ruolan. ”I truly regret it.”

”Regret that I didn't let those people kill you! I am too merciful!”

”You are merciful? Is that how you defined merciful? Haven't you had enough? What? You want to see me suffer for a few more years while living a life worse than death, then you will stop?” Jiang Ruolan smiled faintly.

Jiang Bingqing looked at her. ”Jiang Ruolan, I've lost now, but I have not lost to you! If it weren't for Xian Zihao, you would never be able to stand up again in your entire life!”

”If it weren't for Xian Zihao?” Jiang Ruolan maintained an indifferent smile. ”Bingqing, if you're not Jiang Guanyu's daughter, do you think you can be so arrogant in the last twenty odd years?”

Jiang Bingqing took a deep breath, unable to speak. She looked at Jiang Ruolan with an indifferent expression.

”Do you know why I'm here today?” Jiang Ruolan said softly, ”I'm not here to make fun of you. I just want to see you and see how arrogant and fearless Jiang Bingqing has become. Jiang Bingqing, don't you really think that you are too absurd by committed suicide. Who are you trying to show? Have you ever thought about how your family is feeling?”

”No matter how selfish Jiang Guanyu and Zhan Lian are, they are selfless towards you. They gave all their love to you, and because of your problems, they were arrested by the authorities. Because of your selfishness, you ruined everyone's life,  including those who raised you. Instead of being grateful for having that kind of parent, you're trying to kill yourself.”

”When has anyone entered your eyes? Every word and action of yours is for yourself. You have inculcated this thought in yourself since you were little. No matter whose life you ruin, as long as it gives you a benefit, you wouldn't care about anything else.”

”I came here today just to tell you how stupid you are.”

”Jiang Ruolan!” Jiang Bingqing trembled as she looked at her. ”What exactly do you want to do? Who gives you a right to teach me a lesson!”

”This time, when I got off the plane, I didn't have the time to see my mother, and I didn't have the time to see the current situation of Jiang Guanyu and Zhan Lian. After I heard that you tried to commit suicide, I came straight to see you.”
